SOURCE: adding transmission fluid to 1992 BMW 525i.

On the driver side of the transmission pan there is a fill plug. The car must be in the air and level. With the car running fluid will run out of the plug hole when it is full. This is no fun without a lift.

SOURCE: What are the future problems of the BMW 650i?

The future problems? Now that really narrows down the possibilities. The biggest problem is running out of money once the warranty expires. The second biggest problem would be letting the wife or kids drive it.
Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. These are very high maint. cars.
Electric seat motor and cables should go kaput. As will the drivers side electric window. The rear tailights will get water in them and quit. The oxygen sensor will quit leaving a check engine light on. The Bosch electric fuel pump IN the tank will quit as well, leaving you stranded. Get it replaced every 40-60 thou miles.

SOURCE: 1997 BMW 328i convertible automatic tranny slipping

I would also check the Transmission 'switch' ( A / M) on center console next to your Shifter... My 328 just started this symptom... when changing from Rev. to Drive, it goes into 'Winter' mode.. (M) and feels like its slipping... Just press the "A" side of the button...and it should shift normally.. of course, then there's a problem with the switch ! bout $90... g

BMW 650 won't start up. Changed the battery with an Interstate battery instead of a factory BMW battery and didn't have the mechanic register it. Do you think that's the issue?

The brand of battery doesn't matter, only that it is rated at the proper cranking amps to it will start the car. Fit of the battery (size and shape of the case) are critical too. Make sure the cables are attached to the proper posts and that they are on snugly.

You don't say whether the engine turns over at all, but if it does, the problem is not the battery.

2009 BMW 650i hard down shift

Guess I must assume this is a stick shift and that what you mean is it is hard to move shift lever. I would start by changing the trans fluid and insuring the clutch system has no leaks and is working properly.

My 2007 BMW 650i remote key works sometimes. How do I re-charge my key remote?

Most remotes have a 3V li-ion coin cell that provides the power and last about 5 years. You will have to take the remote apart and replace the coin battery as there is no way to recharge. The battery cost about 4-5 bucks at the drug store.
