SOURCE: Where is the Body Control Module located?

It is located on the back side of the underdash fuse box (junction block). You remove the lower steering column cover and knee blocker reinforcement. Then remove two plugs from the bottom of the bcm.
Remove the bolts holding the junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove the junction block from the bracket. Remove screws holding the bcm to the jb. Slide the bcm downward to disengage guide studs on jb from channels on bcm mounting bracket
Remove bcm from jb.

Change speed sensors in 2004 chrysler pacfica ans still will not shift out of first gear

probably problem in valvebody. First of all you need error codes and experienced mechanic guy. But from my experience most number of problems are valve body. Usually it's enough to clean it, not every time. I suppose you can easily find used one to replace yours valve body(or just solenoid pack) and check. But I would repeat, you need error codes and theirs descriptions

Transmission solenoid pack valve

if your refering to the solenoid pack in the valve body then you first drain trans, remove pan, remove old gasket(do not discard unless you have a new gasket or the old is reusable.) only remove bolts that are pertaining to the removal of pack and or vavle body, remember what bolts go where, an then install is reversal of removal.

Trouble code p0845 trans fluid pressure sensor where is this sensor located

In the solenoid pack. Look down between the radiator and transmission. The solenoid pack is right there. Big electrical plug going to it. Clean it and around it well before replacing it. You get dirt in the holes after you remove it. You may have to pull the valve body and clean it.

1999 escort solenoid on transmission is it a difficult fix?

its inside the transmission and requires removing the valve body now this is where most people make the mistake and loose a bunch of little check balls dont and i mean dont turn the valve body upside down when you unbolt it and when you go to put it back on if your having problems with the check balls staying put try using a lil vaseline its tranny safe.

2003 Chrysler 300 check engine codes p0700 and 1776, car occasionally drops into 2nd gear - limp home mode - and will not shift out. Turning off car corrects the problem for and hour or for days. Does this...

THERE IS A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN FOR P1776..SOLENOID SWITCH VALVE LATCHED IN THE LOW/REVERSE POSITION..YOU NEED TO HAVE SCANNED AGAIN AND HAVE "EVENT DATA" READ..
LOOKING FOR TRS CODE..IF IT READS TR2,YOU NED TO HAVE TRANS SHIFT CABLE ADJUSTMENT CHECKED AND FOR BINDING AS WELL..IF IT READS OD,VALVE BODY OF TRANS MAY HAVE A STICKING SOLENOID SWITCH VALVE IN VALVE BODY..ALSO IF TRS CODE LEADS YOU TO VALVE BODY ISSUE..YOU NEED TO HAVE SOLENOID PACK BUILD DATE CODE CHECKED..IF IT FALLS IN A CERTAIN DATE,YOU REPLACE THE SOLENOID PACK,NOT THE VALVE BODY..A GOOD TRANS SHOP OR CHRYSLER DEALER WILL BE ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THIS PROBLEM..ALSO TCM IS PART OF PCM ON THIS YEAR VEHICLE AND YOU CANNOT SWAP ONE FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE..BUT I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE A CONTROLLER ISSUE..THE LH VEHICLES I HAVE SEEN WITH THIS PROBLEM THE SOLENOID PACK ON TOP OF THE VALVE BODY IS THE TROUBLE..I WORK AS A CHRYSLER TECH..13 YEARS EXPERIENCE

MY 2004 CHRYSLER 300M CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND A P1776 AND P0700 CODES CAME UP, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO??? DEBBIE

p0700 indicates you have trans fault present..p1776 is a trans fault which means solenoid switch valve is latched in low/reverse position..solenoid switch valve is located in valve body of transmission, but for 2001-2004 LH vehicles you need transmission event data read to find out what TRS position the fault set..recommend chrysler dealer for this fault..also build code on solenoid pack in trans must be checked..if in a certain build code range, you replace solenoid pack..not the valve body..valve body must be removed to check build code on solenoid pack..i have seen this problem before..i am a dealer technician, and had one of these fault codes last week and solenoid pack was the problem..solenoid pack is about 375 dollars..total time with diagnostics was about 3 hours..

Where are the shift solonoids located?

the shift solenoids are located on the valve body of the transmission.depending on the vehicle they are either external on the front with a wiring harness attached or they are internal which means the you have to drop the trans pas and the valve body, but be careful not to loose any of the check balls. The solenion pack will be mounted to the side of the valve body with 2-3 bolts.
