Yes, just put on the new stuff, and start it up. The TPI switch calibrates on start up. No worries.

Yes but i dont think thats your problum. i bet you its just the contacts that plug in the throttle body. they dont fit well it happends alot with the 2003 cts you can fix it by un pluging it putting a dent in the back of all 6 contacts. i used a dart tip to do it. then usr some cleener on them you should be good.

On my 2010 Cadillac Escalade will not start and it says Reduced Engine Power

Reduced Engine Power Has to do with the electronic throttle control . Have it check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . The gas pedal is electric , has sensors the PCM uses so it knows how much to open the throttle blade . Electric DC motor on the throttle body to open an close the throttle blade . Video's on youtube that show how it works . Could have bad sensors at the gas pedal or throttle position sensors on the throttle body .

My 2011 cadillac escalade is bogs down at 80 cleaned the body throttle an still doing the same bogs at 80mph what can do now

check for a failed cat converter blocking the exhaust gasses
run the fault codes to check for other faulty sensors

Where is the throttle position sensor located on a Cadillac Escalade 2007

TPS is the throttle control module. Entire throttle body. Needs to go on a scanner. Make sure it is the TAC or APP sensor.

On a vehicle that old,IF that is the original
trans, just pull it & rebuild it

Not worth even diagnosing anything, until you
have a good unit & all the updates done & all
new solenoids

Yes, this is really a periodic maintenance item. Even if a dirty throttle body was causing issues now, cleaning it would still be regular maintenance. If the cleaning did not clear up the problem, then you would probably be into a warranty claim, more easily handled if the dealer did the work.

Common fuel problems in a 2000 cadilac escalade

You problem reside in the cause of the fuel injector not getting the proper amount of fuel this can be caused by the MAP (manifold absolute pressure). To a MAF (mass airflow) you have both sensor, Disconnect the MAF does it stay running and also inspect the MAF air duct for cracks and false air leak,From the MAF to the throttle body. with the MAF disconnected and it stay running the MAF is the solution ,as for the MAP if it can stay running with the sensor disconnected the MAP is the solution

Hello. The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is on the outside of the throttle body assembly. It's beside the throttle plate inside the throttle body. Once you remove the air cleaner from the throttle body you will see what I am talking about. I hope this helps, please don't hesitate to ask any other questions about this.
