I have an 84 Honda shadow vt700. The clutch was working but would slip when hot it would get to where I could release clutch with bike in 1st gear and nothing would happen! It would just continue to idle!...

Bleeding the hydraulics will not improve the friction drive of the clutch in any way, your clutch drive plate is worn out and needs replacing. To bleed the hydraulic line ,make sure that the master cylinder is fully topped up,pump clutch lever several times then tie ,using a zip tie the clutch lever all the way to the handle bar, gently open the bleed screw and await fluid to start dripping from the bleed screw, this may take an hour or two but it will eventually bleed itself, once 25% of the fluid has discharged from the the master cylinder tighten up the bleed screw and this is the easiest DIY way of bleeding a hydraulic system, without a pressure bleeder.

How to bleed clutch

You will need a vacuum clutch bleeding tool, they are made my a company called "MITYVAC", inquire at your local NAPA or Carquest auto parts store, Autozone may carry them as well. Without a bleed due to the design of the clutch hydraulic circuit it is nearly impossible to get all the air out.

Trouble bleeding the clutch

all clutch slave cylinders have a bleed screw, one pipe in,the other hole is the bleed screw hole, should be tapered at the bottom, for the screw to deal against, also sits above the pipe,to let the air out

Clutch pedal goes and stays to the floor...car will not go in gear

could just be a leak - might check the bleed valve and along the hoses between the reservoir and the trans for points of leaking and fix as needed as the pedal will stay down to prevent pulling in air when bleeding the clutch [rather handy when bleeding without assistance]

Need to know how to bleed clutch for 1995 ford ranger

Does the clutch have the outer clutch slave or is it inside the clutch plate area, to know look on the left or right side for a clutch slave cylinder if it does not have one it's internal and a pain. If it has an out side one fill the master reservoir then go under the truck and crack open the bleed valve on the cylinder have someone pres the clutch pedal all the way down and hold it to the floor, then close bleed valve then allow the clutch back up and have them push it to the floor open bleed valve and close when all air comes out do this till the arm moves it's full travel about 2 inches. And if its one with a master inside the transmission it has to be power bleed and normally you can’t do it without pulling the transmission.

I have a 2002 Rendezvous and the security light keep coming on and there is ticking noise coming from the computer area

without really haveing it hooked up to a tech2 scan tool it is hard to say. You may have a body control module or another module with an issue. My advise is to take it have it scanned by gm shop or one who has a tech2
