Question about Cars & Trucks
My 2007 camry radio with jbl randomly went to what sounded like my tweeters. it played like that for a couple days and i was thinking it would come out of it. well, one morning on my way to work the radio was playing (through tweeters still) and i saw/ smelled smoke coming from the front passenger door panel. as anyone would have i freaked out. but the smoked stopped. then the radio wouldnt play at all. i can change station, go from cd to tuner just fine, but cant adjust volume. i took it to my dealer and they said they couldnt smell smoke from the door and that i need a new cd player and it was $350 (of course). i said ill wait and figure something out. didnt know if anyone could help. blown fuse? bad wire? please help. driving with no radio is quite boring .
Hey, that sounds like wiring for sure, if your cd player is working fine and its just your speakers? then yes that would be a wiring problem, theres a bad wire somewhere in the system. either find out yourself where the bad wire is or bring it to someone who know how to repair those types of problems. good luck!

THIS IS A RADIO PROBLEM, THIS PROBLEM WILL REQUIRE THE RADIO BEING SENT OUT TO AN AUTHORIZED FACTORY ELECTRONICS REPAIR CENTER, THERE IS NO BLOWN FUSE OR THE RADIO WOULD NOT EVEN TURN ON.

I had the same problem in my 98 Dodge Dakota! Replaced the heater core, problem solved. No more funky coolant smell and erie fog coming through my vents. I bought the heater core at rockauto.com online. Have purchased many items now from them. All factory parts so far at half the price of even AutoZone, even with the shipping. Also, you usually have to wait only a couple of days depending on the part and they have EVERYTHING.

sounds like valve guids are wearing out.. drying out and cracking. only fix is to replace them. or try a heavier oil. sometimes that will help depending on the severity of the problem.

There was a recall for the 03-04 Accord radio. It had faulty circuitry that caused the screen to go dim. Check with Honda to see if they'll still honor the recall.
