If both are from the same style drivetrain and engine, they should interchange. A salvage yard should be able to tell you for sure.

you need to have the trouble codes read go to autozone they can read them for you and write them down and report back it is most likley a speed sensor on the transmission there is two of them and they are very cheap and easy to change called input /output speed sensors

the relay is located in the power distribution box under the hood the relay will be a square black or gray cube just pull out and make sure you rerplace it with the same type relay. refer to your owners manual for any questions regarding the fuses and relays

Can I put a 2003 town & country transmission into a 2002 town & country


most likely it will fit unless the manufacturer changed the application that year but its not likely suoldnt be a problem

Will only go in reverse


You have a failed automatic transmission, Remove the transmission and have it rebuilt.

Looking for a diagram of the power steering system for a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country . Missing a hose that comes out of a filter looking thing W/ 4 hoses, under the bottom center of the vehicle.


Go buy a 3/8 inch transmission hose (most stores sell it by the foot) and cut it to length then reclamp it. I just did this to my 2001 Town/Country tonight and it worked wonderfully! Hope this helps you!

If you have a 3.3 motor, a 2000 transmission WILL NOT work.

2000 Chrysler Town & Country Minivan spontaeously dies, while cold, while driving, etc. could this be the accelerator assembly?


Possibly the camshaft and crankcase sensors. I had similar problems with my 2001 Town and Country.

Starting problem


check the Battery connections, specaily earthing or ground which come from negative terminal from the battery how is fitted and where you fitted.
