these codes indicate there is a miss fire on cylinders 1 and 2 hence the 0301 and 0302 code the 1300 just indicates multiple engine miss fires. so anything that can cause these cylinders to miss fire need to be attended to in order to fix your problem.

A bad injector will cause a misfire. You need to replace it and see if the issue is corrected.

multiple code issue (evaporative, catalyst efficiency, and miss fire)doubtfull all 1 source of error but draw attention to the miss fire code PO300 is a random cylinder miss fire, possible crank position or cam position sensors.but i would check timing first.

I have a 98 honda LX civic and my check engine light came on. I took it to my MECHANIC and he cant seem to tell me what the miss fire is. he keeps turning it off and it keeps coming on! what should I

A misfire can come from several things. If you have any mechanic ability check the following.

1. Are the plugs and wires new?
2. Does it smoke?
3. Can you smell gas?

While its missing do the following.

1. 1 by 1 grab each fuel injector. A noticeable tick should be felt.

When it gets dark fire it up and pop the hood. Disable the hood light and look for sparks. This could indicate a bad spark plug wire.

Chances are its only one cylinder missing. But in the event i am wrong, Check the coil. Some models have a single coil and others have multiple.

Replaced the MAF sensor - nothing. Took it to a authorized toyota shop & checked compression which check out good and put the computer on. Computer read mis-fire on cylinder 1, and then multiple misfire (like it would jump around). We went ahead and replaced the fuel injector on cylnder 1 - did not solve problem as when we hook the computer up, misfire seemed tp stay at idle and seem better when running high RMP, but check engine light is on as it never went away. Went ahead and replaced the coil pack to cylinder 1 - nothing. what am i missing?

Now change the distributor. Get one from salvage or e-bay. Did the timing belt jumped a tooth or is it new. Vitally
