No electricity to the relay for the blower motor

My blower motor is not working only for the simple reason is that the relay in the main fuse box in the engine compartment has no juice going thru that connector. Relay is fine there's no electricity going thru those connectors. I put a test light on it and nothing. What else can it be?

SOURCE: Blower Motor on 2000 Saturn SL

The blower motor is connected to a termic switch, when the motor is fine and fuse is ok, is the switch that must be replaced.

Ensure the fuse is ok first.

Where is the main relay located on a 2007 nissan sentra 2.0. It's not in the fuse box. It doesn't let power go to anything when it's blown I have a new one but can't find the old one to change it out.

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Sentra/2006_Sentra/pg.pdf

if this is AKA the IGNITION relay see page 44 on that link i included

click on the last link for paul's pictorial on how to access that inner fuse box

the inner fuse box, labeled A, and that ignition relay is on the flip side of that whole box! i dunno if you have to unbolt the box and flip it over to see those 3 relays listed on that page = ignition, blower motor, and accessory

that pic of the white fusebox has those nuts holding it on the chassis, hopefully you can get to the other side of the fusebox by unbolting those nuts and flipping it

My fan motor and windows and radio loose power, like its a loose wire or a short to the framae from the primary fuse box to the secondary one, how can i find the problem and fix it

COULD HAVE CORROSION INSIDE FUSE AND RELAY BOX CAUSING POOR CONTACT IN ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS. REMOVE FUSE AND RELAYS TO CONTROL CIRCUITS SPRAY A LITTLE ELECTRONIC CLEANER ALLOW IT TO DRY.CHECK BLOWER MOTOR RELAY IT COULD BE BAD OR BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR BAD HOT BLOWER MOTOR TO SEE IF BLOWER WORK IF NO YOU HAVE FAULTY BLOWER MOTOR. IF BLOWER MOTOR WORKS WHEN YOU HOT WIRE BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL SWITCH COULD BE BAD.RADIO AND POWER PROBLEM COULD BE IN THE FRONT CONTROL MODULE IF CLEANING OUT CONTACT WITH ELECTRONIC CLEANER.DEALERSHIP HAS TO CHECK IT OUT.

Blower stays on when car is turned off won't stop running until I disconnect the battery cable, tried the blower fuse that didn't work. 1995 olds auroa

If you pulled the 10 amp fuse in the I/P fuse block and the blower still worked than the the blower motor module is most likely the problem. It is fed by a 30 amp fus4e in the fuse block under the rear seat. That fuse is always hot and always supply power to the blower motor module. If you pull that fuse and the blower stops than it's pretty likely the blower module is the problem.

The blower module is located near the blower motor. It is usually held in place with 2 screws and will have four or five wires at the connector.

Heater has stopped working

(1) possible blown fuse.
Note that fuses blow for a reason - seek out the reason, or it will blow its new fuse too.

The main fuse block is located inside the left side of the engine compartment near the battery. There is also an interior fuse panel located just above the left side kick panel.

Interior Fuse Panel
The interior fuses simply unplug from the fuse panel. Use the fuse puller tool provided with your car to remove fuses from the panel. The tool is located on the back of the interior fuse panel cover.

(2) possible blower motor dead. See maintenance manual excerpt below.

(3) possible blower motor relay faulty. Location of Blower relay:
Under hood, drivers side, front engine area, rear of headlight housing; relay mounted on drivers side of radiator shroud.

See Figure below

archaeology_8.jpg
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the glove box and the underdash cover.
  3. Detach the electrical connectors from the blower unit.
  4. Remove the blower unit-to-fire wall attaching bolts and remove the blower unit assembly.
  5. Remove the blower motor fan-to-motor fastener.
  6. Remove the blower motor-to-unit attaching bolts, then remove the motor.
  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Did you find out a solution to your problem? I have a 1996 trooper that is showing most of the same symptoms that you have. I'm curious as to your fix. Was it simply a bad ground?

I have a 95 Tahoe my blower is not working, what could be the problem, and where should I start first

Start with fuse box and check all relays too. If relays all good check with tester if power is reaching electrical connector to blower motor. Thirdly could be main blower resistor but not likely. Could also be blower motor itself.
Hope that helps.

Blower Fan not working

Could be a fuse or a relay, they are usually under the hood in the "Fuse/Relay box". The exact location should be indicated in the box cover and/or the owner's manual of the van. To try the relay, most of the relays in that box are the same, you can try switching it with another one and see if it works. But, i suspect a possible bad blower fan motor, they seem to go quite often on Econoline vans. They are a pretty simple item to replace, located under the hood on the passenger side, on the firewall. To diagnose for a bad motor, unplug the plugin on the motor, and with the key on, heater control to max, use a test light or a multimeter to check for power and ground at the plugin. Another thing, is the fan not working on all speeds, or is it working on max speed, the reason for my question is, if it's only working on max, the resistor (used for lower speeds) is probably bad. It is located close to the motor in the airbox on the passenger side of the firewall.
