Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
Changed out the motor mounts, ran a compression check, engine is strong. Services the transmission which is fine also. Five different shops and $900 late and still no answer. Rick.
Do the power balance test to every single cylinder to see has rpm drop. If one of them does, then need to check the fuel injector, spark plug, plug wires, ignition rotor and cap.

Run fault codes and look for misfiring cylinder. Vibrations are from engine misfires normally consistent with one cylinder . IT may be spark or HT lead or a faulty injector

Not likely to be the clutch pack as you dont mention slipping wich is the normal sign of overheated or worn clutch bands. Not sure with your vehicle but 2 methods that control the shift severity are engine vacuum or pump pressure inside the auto. so check balls are a possibility. They are spring loaded to open at a set pressure,or close.Could you check to see if its a vacuum controled and if so its a lot easier to fix as the vacuum control should be outside the trans.

Try checking the engine/transmission mounts, one of them may not have been reinstalled properly, or worn out, causing a vibration. If the car is able to move with the new clutch, and it seems to work, I wouldn't say the clutch was put in wrong. Also check the wires around the engine/transmission, you may have knocked something loose as well.
Hope this helps

Check calibration. Muffler supports from the front till the back, there should be proper clearance. Is your diesel fuel of proper cetane rating for the engine? Check your belt drive system, is there any part that is excessively draining engine power, power steering pump, air con compressor, alternator or generator? Do these preliminary steps and isolate.
