Loosening the black plastic fender skirt by removing a couple of screws and pulling it out of the way shouldgive you access to the screw. Rmoving it probably won't be too much of a chore.

SOURCE: Remove headlight assembly from a 2001 Dodge Ram

On the upper grill side of the headlight assy. there
should be 1 or 2 push pins that hold the seal on the
headlight assy to the front of the fender. Also check
for a guide/push pin on the inner top of the assy on
the outer fender side. That should be all there is to
hold the headlight in place. Hope this helps.

Not sure what your working on but to replace a headlight assembly, you shouldn't have to remove fender. Please give more details of vehicle for confirmation.

How do you remove a fender?

Front fender? Lift the hood, open the front door on the same side as the fender to be removed. Under the rim of the hood, you'll find a line of bolts holding the top of the fender in place. Inside the door opening, you'll find one or two more bolts holding the rear of the fender in place. You may also find one bolt under the rear corner of the fender, fully underneath the vehicle. You'll also need to remove the turn signal housing, any side marker light, and possibly the headlight - all with screws - and you may still find one bolt up front, where a steel strut holds the frontmost bottom corner of the fender in place.

When you get all those fasteners removed, you pretty much just wiggle the fender off the car.

How too remoove driver side fender 2005 envoy

once you have removed the headlight assembly and remove the bolt behind the headlight assembly, continue locating the 10mm bolts attaching the fender along the top side, along the bottom in front and behind of the tire, open the drivers side front door, look into the opening between the door hinges and with a flashlight and a long extension on your ratchet you will then remove the two bolts between the fender and door, one on top and one at the bottom. you also have to remove the retaining bolts that attach the inner fender liner to the fender.

My heater is blowing cold air in my 2002 mercury grand. The coolant is full and the two hoses going through the firewall are hot. could this be the heater core? the defrost still works and theres no liquid...

It's ugly. If you get to the actuator, take it off and check the door by hand for smooth operation. If the door is jammed, you'll have to split the case and repair it to proper operation.
Either way, check the actuator for stripped gears or shaft key. test it with the battery to see if it works, etc. Here is the full removal procedure:
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Disconnect battery negative cable from battery and properly isolate to prevent accidental reconnection.
  3. Remove the instrument panel.
  4. The instrument panel houses the controls for most of the electrical systems of the vehicle. The glove compartment is located in the lower RH side of the instrument panel. The LH side of the instrument panel frames the steering column and houses the instrument cluster.
    1. Position the wheels straight ahead.
    2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    3. Loosen the lug nuts on the front wheels.
    4. Apply the parking brake, block the rear wheels, then raise and safely support the front of the vehicle securely on jackstands.
    5. Remove the front wheels.
    6. Remove the retaining nut in the radiator coolant recovery reservoir assembly.
    7. Remove the retaining bolt in the front fender splash shield.
    8. Position the front fender splash shield out of the way.
    9. Lower the vehicle.
    10. Tag and remove the wiring connectors.
    11. Remove the retaining screw in the parking brake control.
    12. Remove the parking brake control.
    13. Remove the retaining screw in the instrument panel finish panel in the lower instrument panel.
    14. Remove the retaining screw in the steering column opening reinforcement.
    15. Remove the retaining screw in the steering gear housing.
    16. Remove the tilt wheel handle and shank.
    17. Remove the ignition switch.
    18. Disconnect the upper steering column shroud and remove the retaining bolts.
    19. Disconnect the ignition switch assembly.
    20. Tag and remove the electrical connector.
    21. Disconnect the vacuum hose.
    22. Remove the retaining nut in the steering column assembly.
    23. Lower the steering column tube assembly.
    24. Disconnect the shift cable assembly.
    25. Remove the steering column shroud retaining screw.
    26. Remove the retaining screws from the multi-function switch.
    27. Position the multi-function switch out of the way.
    28. Remove the retaining screw from the cowl side trim panel.
    29. Remove the lower panel door trim, remove the retaining screw, and position the panel out of the way.
    30. Tag and disconnect the wiring connectors, and remove the ground wire assembly.
    31. Remove the retaining screw on the cowl side (RH) panel.
    32. Remove the lower panel door trim, remove the retaining screw, and position the panel out of the way.
    33. Tag and disconnect the wiring connectors, and remove the ground wire assembly.

I want to remove the right front fender and would like to know where all the nuts and bolts etc. that need to be removed are and the easiest way of going about it?

I just did this.
Remove the fender liner
Remove the mud guard

There are several 6mm flange bolts with 10mm heads.
3 along the inside of the hood
1 behind the top of the door accessible with the door open
2 on the bottom of the door behind the mud guard
2 behind the bumper cover, the headlight is attached to one of these.
There is a screw holding the end of the bumper to the fender. Remove it and pull the cover away from the fender. There is a large plastic clip inserted into the fender next to the two bolts that holds the bumper cover but should release when you pull the cover.

The headlight has two dowel pins that insert into the fender, removing the headlight may be better but you have to remove the bumper to get to some of the headlight assembly bolts. There are 4 bolts holding on the bumper that are accessible through the turn signal holes. The bumper will "fall" about an inch and sit on some collar bolts so it can be lifted off without one side falling (a neat feature). The turn signal is held by one Phillips screw accessible through a special hole on the inboard side of the bumper with your longest Phillips screwdriver.

2002 Suzuki XL-7 headlight removal

No other way to get the headlight housing out other than to remove the grille not the fender. Remove the clips that secure the top of the radiator grille. There are 5 screws on the bottom portion of the grille that have to be removed before you can remove the grille. There are 3 screws and something called a guide pin on the headlight housing. Detach the electrical connector from the bracket by squeezing the lock tip with a pair of pliers. Remove the bulbs and have fun cleaning the headlight lens.

Headlight assy removal

Hi,
First, you need to remove the front bumper cover, it's held on by clips and screws on top, side and bottom. Then you can remove two bolts on top side of the headlight, also remove the bolt on the side close to the fender, you will see this one once the bumper cover is off. Disconnect the connectors at the back of the headlight, and then remove the light. Sometimes you may have to pull on the lamp housing a little to pop it out from the retaining clip, if not then just wiggle it out carefully. Hope this helps.
