You have to go to Ford dealership to get another one. They will set it for you but they are $75 to $100

The code is printed on the right-hand side of the plastic housing for the keyless computer, just to the left of the steering column under the dash. Helpful pictures were posted on www.taurusclub.com:

SOURCE: no key for 2001 ford expedition

you can't start the vehicle without taking it in and having a new key programmed to it- you can have a key made- it will unlock it and turn in the ign. but will not start without programming- your ford dealer may be able to get the key code for the vehicle but most likely you'll also have to purchase a new ign. cylinder and have 2 keys made because it takes 2 keys to program after an erase. hope this helps, good luck

Disable keyless entry on 1999 ford expedition

I have never had to do this but I am told this is the correct proceedure.

Keyless entry key pad procedure
1. Turn the ignition to the 1 (OFF/LOCK) position.
2. Close all the doors.
3. Enter 5-digit entry code
4. Press and hold the 7 • 8. While holding the 7 • 8 press the 3 • 4.
5. Release the 3 • 4.
6. Release the 7 • 8.
The user should receive a horn chirp to indicate the system has been
disabled or a chirp followed by a honk to indicate the system has been
enabled.
