SOURCE: i have mercedes benz E220 cdi avantgrade,i havent been driving my car about one week.this morning when i start engine cardidnt start, on dash board tis apeared ,ESP not avallabel see owners

The ESP message came on because the battery went low causing your steering angle sensor to lose syncronization. There are 2 different ways to resync the steering angle sensor. One way is turning the steering wheel from lock to lock and the 2nd way generally involves just driving the car around like normal and it will resync on its own. You will most likely just have to drive the car around until it resyncs on its own because of warning message your getting. When it says see owners its because in the owners manual there is a description on what the message means and what to do to fix it. Basically it just tells you to drive the car. Hope this helped you out.

What is causing my engine to stall at stop light?

Could be a number of things. Start with doing a fuel system clean and air filter swap. If that doesn't fix it. Look into crankshaft position sensor and the knock sensor.

I have problems with my the Mercedes A170 CDI 2001 (W168) automatic transmission. There is high pressure in the cooling system (hoses are hard) when started the engine and coolant level fluctuates up and...

To have high pressure in the coolant system you have compression pressure escape into the coolant system. If you simply replaced the head gaskets without checking for cracks or having the head machined to eliminate warped head then you have pretty much wasted your money as the problem still exists. You will have to pull the head again and have it checked out. Put a coolant system pressure tester in place of the radiator cap and start the engine and see if there is a rise in pressure on the gauge.

Red oil light comes on mercedes a170 cdi, engine starts to cut out, what do I need to do?

Check your oil levels. If full, then confirm pressure with an external oil pressure gauge attached to the motor.

You may need to tow it to a Repair shop to keep from ruining the motor. When stuff like this happens, it can be a defective oil pressure switch. But it can be a bad oil pump or bad bearings.

Sometimes an oil sample needs to be done or just change the oil. If gas mixed with oil, then the oil is too thin to pump good. And it is time to find out why gas is in the oil.

I hope my solution is helpful and that you will rate me.

2003 Mercedes-benz Sprinter cdi 316 cuts out and doesn't start

Hi, My thoughts exactly ( fuel leak). Is this a deisel or gas engine?
In both cases be very careful with lights or cigarettes.
You can smell it when you get out of car in a garage or stall.
Good luck.

Brake caliper bolt torque settings for merc a170 cdi im cleaning the calipers and replacing pads, on rear brakes, would like to know the torque settings for the bolts

A quick phonecall to the service department of your local dealer should confirm what they should be. Alternativlely you could check the current tightness of the bolts on the caliper you haven't disturbed yet. I'd estimate around 60nm should be correct.
