the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: hilux surf lower wishbone bushes need replacing .is it a hard job

Hi,
If you are experiencing grinding noises when turning, it is usually the top strut bearings above the springs that transmits noise inside.
These get the worst of salt spray - so often turn to dust. You will need to drop the suspension to check this area out.
It could be that this ball joint is suspect too, but you can only tell with the pressure off it.
Also check other rubber bushes when the suspension is off, as wear on an inner one may not normally be noticed. Uneaven tyre wear is usually an alignment problem - so have the tracking checked by a garage with Laser equipment.

SOURCE: toyota surf automatic it wont change gear ?

I assume you are saying it is late to shift. There is what is called a Throttle Valve ( TV) cable that goes from the engine to the transmission. If this cable is out of adjustment, or too tight, it will cause this problem. While you are at it check for vaccuum leaks on the hose from the engine to the tranmission. A problem here will cause a harsh shift, but necessarryly late shift

Good Luck

Mazda 1990 T3500 CAMPER-VAN reverse gear is ( stubbon ) locked

When a vehicl is in storage for a long time and hasn't been started ,the oil drains off the gears and any part above the oil line will rust and jam up. Try removing the lock unit as the dedent ball in the unit may be rusted in the out position and not moving out of the way to allow gear selection.Don't be surprised if the gear box and diff make some noise when you drive it.

I have to replace a tire on my 2008 toyota highlander. Do i have to replace all 4 tires?

yes and no ,some places will tell you that as its all wheel drive all 4 should be changed ,but in reality only two tyres ,both tyres on the same axle will need to be changed to comply with tyre regulations for the annual vehicle inspection ,you will not damage the intermediate diff by doing this as any difference in the tyre dimensions caused by wear will be minimal so long as you use the correct size tyres for the vehicle with the correct speed rating ,the intermediate diff is designed to allow for different speeds of the vehicle which is why it has a nice collection of sun and planets gears inside it which are designed to allow for the differences without wearing out ,Like the antifreeze pundits you musnt mix different colours ,well its ony the colour thats different thats all but listen to the so called dealer receptionist experts ,well trust a mechanic with 40+ years in the trade if these pundits were any good they would be on the workshop floor because they would know what their doing but when a mechanic is no good they get given jobs like storeman or receptionists ,van drivers and the like .
