I have a 2007 Cadillac dts with 82,000 miles. When driving at highway speed, I let off the gas pedal and coast for short distance. when trying to resume speed it will not excelerate. I have to stop put it into neutral, rev the engine, and it will go for several miles before it fails again.

***** is correct adn yoru issues are not a quick fix.. some sensor is acting up and /or computer is being told to do something .....get full scope done and dig towards cause that way

SOURCE: check engine light
The gasket or large o-ring on the under side of the cap might be warn not keeping a tight seal. replace gasket or o-ring, or get a new cap, and see if that cures it.
