Question about Nissan Qashqai
Qashqui 1.5d teckns my husband changed a fuse in the rear passenger door opening resulting in all the electrics blowing (includ ignition)! The call out guy couldn't find anything wrong & towed it to nearest Nissan garage . They have been working on it for 3 days & still haven't found anything, problem difficult as we are in France & ourFrench is not good enough to hurry them up ! Many thanks
When in Rome ( old saying) do what is necessary. Go to a cafe that is patronised by expats and you will find someone who will be able to help with a translation. Then have them tell the service personal to run the fault codes . Next tell them to reset the CPU by using a codes reader as there may be corruption in the CPU program from the blowing fuse. Also tell them to check the immobiliser for correct operation as it may not be working at all from the blown fuse.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I would follow their recommendation as I had the same problem with my car. They unhooked the power to that door and it was fine. The problem was a short in the wiring in the door that was causing the problem. So maybe get them to check the wiring in the door as well.

bang on the door hard and put the window up.if there is a dead spot in the motor from lack of use,the motor will start.

it sounds as if the wiring harness to the door may have come disconnected or broken you have to open the door panel and check the connections manually

fuses are usually in the glove box or under the drivers dash or under the drivers side hood either physically inspect every fuse by pulling them one by one or the aid of a test light and a good ground to the test light
