SOURCE: 1997 Neon dies, starts after electric fuel pump relay swapped

Hello, I would assume this is your fuel pump inside your tank. I would first however do some basics like a general tuneup. For starters I would replace your spark plugs and wires, rotary cap and button and check your fuses. Run some injector cleaner through your system. You know quick simple cheap things before you get to the fuel pump inside the gas tank which can be kinda expensive. The warm up then dies can be caused by, "blownout or fouled," spark plugs. I hope this gives you a general direction in which to go. A sidenote is that coil packs do not normally run an igntion code and I for one do not like them becuase they are expensive.

SOURCE: Which relay is the fuel pump relay?

The fuel pump relay switch, if that is what you are looking for, is actually a red button hidden underneath the hood latch. We just had to do the same thing and that will fix it. Just press the red button and you should be fine.

SOURCE: Dies after running about 2 minutes

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.

I have a 22re toyota pick up with weber carburetor it takes a long time to start in the mornings battery even dies sometimes before starting what do you recomend

Check that your choke is working properly.
Start with a tune-up, new gas filter, air filter if dirty, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor. If your spark plug wires are old, buy a new set, or test yours with an ohmmeter.
If still bad, check if your fuel pump is putting enough gas into the carburetor. Take the gas line off at carb. and check volume flow into a container. Also the carb may need adjustments-maybe the fuel level in carb. bowl is too low-would need to raise float height. Check if the needle valve and seat at the gas inlet to carb is not clogged or stopped from trash or debris.
Look down the throat of carb and watch for gas jetting out when you open the throttle to wide open-you should see gas spurt downward, if not, the carb needs some work to it.
Is your choke adjusted right? Sounds like it may not be-the choke flap should be nearly closed when starting, partially open after running, and fully open after the engine warms up.
Other problems could be weak ignition components-possibly a coil or igniter-what Toyota calls an ignition module.
Post back with what you find. Webers are great carburetors-much better than stock.

85 TOYOTA CELICA STARTS RUNS FOR 5 MINUTES STOPS TRY GIVING IT GAS IT STOPS WILL RESTART EVER TIME AND RUN FOR 5 MINUTES AND STOPS CHANGED FUEL FILTER AND FUEL PUMP DID NOT HELP WHAT DO I DO NEXT

TRY THIS. REMOVE THE INTAKE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE CAR .THE EGR VALVE CLOGS UP WITH CARBON SOMETIMES CHOKING IT OFF COMPLETELY. IT WILL BE HARD TO START WHEN THIS IS CLOGGED. CHUNK OUT THE CARBON WHERE THE BUILD UP IS. REPLACE WITH A NEW EGR.

1985 Ford Bronco 2 choke plate not closing

The choke butterfly (choke plate as you call it) can only be partially closed when the engine is cold. It is used to create a low pressure under in the throat of the carby which causes excess fuel into the engine when cranking and early running to help warm up and to prevent the carby icing up. After a few minutes the butterfly will be fully open and remain that way while the engine is at operating temp. As to the engine stopping down the road look for another fault -- Like incorrect fuel cap on tank , blocked fuel filter, dirty air filter If the engine starts easily and runs I doubt that the fault will be in the carby.

1989 toyota corolla starts with Choke not without choke

First of all change the fuel filter. If that doesn't get it, change the spark plugs. If that doesn't help, check for vacuum leaks. Check all intake bolts for tightness. With the engine running, use a stethoscope, or a length of fuel line held to your ear and listen for a hissing sound. Wiggle all your hoses around and check for loose ones or cracked ones.

88 Toyota Corolla backfires through carburetor.

If that is carbureted, and has a mechanical fuel pump, try running a length of fuel line from inlet side of pump to a gas can that has fresh, clean fuel, and if it runs good that way, you know problem is most likely in the tank. Removing the tank & cleaning it out is best solution from there. I'd even be tempted to add a small bottle or 2 of Lucas Fuel Sytem Cleaner to first fill in clean tank, just to help clean lines as well as carb.
