Is this a brain tumour? The issue is what type of cancer it is and whether or not it has metasticized.

I had an abdominal Cat-Scan for GI problems. The Radiology report came back noting that a "Cyst (Hemorrhagic/proteinaceous) or mass" was found on my right kidney. What chances of this being cancerous?

this site is not a medical site so discuss these findings with your renal specialist
all lumps can be benign or cancerous until you get a biopsy done to find out which it is
best advice is don't delay in seeking help from a specialist

Replacement lifters need to put oil hold in proper alinement,:point left or right?

lifters are designed to rotate to prevent the cam lobe wearing out in one spot or the base of the lifter wearing out funny.. The oil hole points to a groove so that they get oil regardless of the direction

2004 hyundai elantra engine vibrates at idle. Some days the vibration is worse than others. Outside temperature seems to play a part. Problem not as bad when really hot outside. Over 90 degrees.

Have your idling speed adjusted. If it will not help, try replacing the air cleaner. If it will not solve the problem, then there are several checks to be done.
Check if the pump is delivering the right amount of fuel. Check if there are intake manifold leaks. Check if head gasket is leaking, Check if ignition timing is right. Check if valve clearance is out of adjustment. Check for worn out timing belt. Check for worn out cam lobes. check for clogged injectors.

1990 Pontiac Lemans 1.6l noisy lifter problem

Really, really, sorry to suggest that the head gasket may not have oil passages lined up. Always lay the oil gasket over the new gasket to see if each and every hole is punched out and lines up to the old gasket.

Also, each lifter needs to go back to its original spot. The Cam lobes are worn for that lifter and a mismatch can be possible. A mismatch could mean extra play in a badly worn lifter face mated to a badly worn Cam lobe.

If that is what you did then get new or rebuilt lifters. Check out for a detailed description of each engine scheme. Your engine may have a thrust plate for the lifters and it may be incorrectly installed creating noise.

I have a 1972 ford f250 camper special. I have always worked on chevys so I don't know how to set the points. The only thing I have been able to find is that the rotor is supposed to point at the...

Before you take the cap off the distributor make a scratch on the distributor in line with #1 on the cap. now take off cap. turn motor over until the contact on the rotor is inline with the scratch. The points should now be on the high lobe. If not loosen distibutor hold down and turn to position the lobe, make a refrense mark so when your done setting points you can put the distributor back where you found it. evan if you are a little off it will be ok, i assume you will be timing the motor. Good luck

How to change timing belt for honda pilot

Timmimg belts on honda vehicles are very in depth and on some models equiped with and balance shaft system require special tools ! It can be done at home but i highly recommend you purchase a repair manual that will give you a step by step instruction and i also recommend you change your water pump when doing this as well while everything is off the front of the engine ! Please note that all the engine Compoments must be timmed properly and in the right sequence or else engine damage can occur !

On a 1987 honda crx carbrated is there a certain postion the cam has to be in for the manual fuel pump to pump right?

joel mitchell here

the best spot to start is at top dead center.

there is a spot on the fuel pump lever that has the contact area.
that side has to be put in the hole in away that inserts down and under the lobe that pushs that pump lever up and down.

hold the pump in your hand and and push the lever with your other hand to see how hard it will be .

you may have to put it in , in a way that you have to musle the pump and the lever to install the holddown bolts.

if its to hard then turn the engine over a little untill the point that the lever is in the easyest position for you to install the hold down bolts.

if the lever going into the engine dosent seem to be riding on the lobe then it is being put in wrong.

the lever has to ride on that offset lobe inside the engine all the time with no slack or slap or gaps.

the lobe is offset and will work the pump lever up and down to work the pump.

hope some of this helps
