Durango radio My 2004 dodge Durango with infinity stereo system recently has not been working even tho the power is coming on and all the lights on the radio are working. I had a 6 cd changer stock radio. I went and bought a new stock radio and thought it was the problem but I was wrong. I also checked my radio fuse and it was blown every time I try to put a new fuse in it automatically blows and one of the prongs on the fuse burn down to nothing any suggestions

Take it to the dealership, your G35 should have a 4 year bumper to bumper on it. They'll replace the radio under warranty most likely.

SOURCE: I have a CD STUCK in my 2004 dodge Durango. How

1st try to hit the eject button multiple times in a row. If this doesn't work you have 3 options.
1= pull the radio unit, disassemble case, gingerly remove CD, and reassemble.
2=Go to dealer or repair shop and have them remove. If you have a warranty left, mopar should be able to help. Factory radios have been a problem with Mopar for years.
3= Go buy a new CD and forget about it

NO sound from radio being on

cable from radio going to speakers loose or disconnected, also the radio inside has a fuse that might be blown, not allowing the sound to come out

Reset radio

According to a stereo place here on long island, who checked out our 2004 Durango after we needed to disconnect the battery, the system has to be reset to recognize that the car has a cd player. The technician said something about the DB unit...... we have an appointment to get this fixed, will update after it is done. Supposedly, this shop has this unit that resets the stereo, which is only available to Dodge dealers.....keep your fingers crossed. But the gist of it is, is that the computer is set for a standard AM/FM stereo, and has to be programmed to know that the vehicle is equipt with a cd unit also.

Dodge durango cd changer

I had the same problem. Repair was more than replacing radio. Go to Crutchfield for good prices. Remember if you have the Infinity sound system you will need another $65 for a box to activate your cars amps and speakers.
