Question about 1995 Eagle Talon
I pressure washed the engine (I covered all the electrical parts with plastic...I thought)I started it after the pressure wash and let it run..it shut off & I haven't been able to start it since; it turns over, but won't fire.
On the cylinder head passenger side of eng.is the cam sensor yhis is what controls whitch plug get fire and when ,it may be wet but should be dryed out by its self by now, I would look more at the plug in connector from the crankshaft sensor it is located on the top of the transsmisson were the eng. block meets the trans

simple!!!!!! pull the old one out and install the new one reverse of the disasembly. if that is to hard take it to a mechanic. besides that the water pump is on the opposite side of the timeing belt. the timeing belt doesnt cover any of the bolts for the water pump.

you need to know wether the car is not getting spark or fuel into engine or neither. then you can figure out what to check. if its no spark check coil packs and power transistor. if its fuel check computer

You did not specify if its petrol or Diesel I am assuming it is diesel. It might be the glow plugs. Get them checked as you will need these to get it started. If its petrol its a different issue. It might be the ignition coil (no spark) coming to the distributor. Whichever the type of car make sure that there is fuel coming to the engine. In the case of diesel you should have a primer rubber fuel pump which you press in order to bring fuel to the engine.

Theres so many things that can cause a car not to start, can you smell petrol after trying to start? if so start with checking the spark side of things, if you dont smell gas find the fuel filter and follow the fuel hose to the fuel rail and squeeze the hose while some one turns the ignition on without starting. You should feel the hose expand when the ignition is turned to the on position, if it does then the fuel pump is doing its job. Like i said it could be alot of things but this is a good place to start. Is it multi coil set up?

WILL THE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR AND IGNITION MODULE COME WITH THE DISTRIBUTOR NEW OR REMFD, CHECK ALL FUSES, ALSO CHECK FOR INJECTOR PLUSATION WITH NOID LIGHT WHILE CRANKING ENGINE, IF O.K CHECK FOR VOLTAGE AT COIL PACKS THERE SHOULD BE TWO COIL PACKS, IF YOU HAVE VOLTAGE YOU COULD HAVE A DEFECTIVE DISTRIBUTOR
