The cooling fan only work's when I have the air-conditioning on, when I put it off the motor starts to over heat, what can it be.I though it was the thermostat and I pull it out but I still have probl

Is there a reason for the cooling fan to work when the air conditing is off? Perhaps when you have outside air coming into the cab and you want more of the outside air? Your Owner's manual may help and may provide some trouble shooting help.

The air conditioning fan on my 1989 oldsmobile toronado trofeo with automatic temperature control doesn't work. The AC puts out cold air but the fan doesn't blow it into the cabin.

I assume you checked fuses for condition and power to and through the fuse to the fan. Locate the fan motor and check for power and ground with a volt ohm meter. Check for continuity thru the motor t make sure it is not bad.

Keeps running hot we changed radator cap and fan is not working right we changed a sensor and didnt stop it

In all probability, the fan is working erratically, or the air conditioning fan is not working at all. Does the vehicle run cooler when the air is off?. Do two things: 1) Check that the fan works after the vehicle has idled for a few minutes, and shows a normal temp (halfway on the gauge). 2) Check that the secondary /Air conditioning fan trips as soon as the A/C is turned on, even if the vehicle is cool.
On the event that either fan does not work, unplug the connector to the fan and check that it receives electricity. If it does, the fan is bad, and if it doesn't, something is wrong with the wiring or the sensor.

My air conditioning and heater work but my air conditioning/ heater fan does not turn on

You need to get to your fan and test the resistance on the fan harness. If that checks out OK I would look at the switch. I am surfe you have already checked the fuse.

Air condition and fan dont work

If all fuses are ok then check wiring to fan and compressor both, if wiring is also ok and current is passed till the terminals then you have two problems, one the magnet forming coil on the compressor head is burnt, you have to replace or get it repaired. second your fan itself needs checking.

Where is the air conditioner blower fan relay on 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee located?

The blower fan relay is located in the fuse box on the driver's side fender-well. A Jeep Cherokee uses an electric fan as an auxiliary fan for engine cooling and for cooling the air conditioning condenser when the air conditioning is in operation. A radiator temperature-sensing switch that activates the fan relay at 198 degrees F turns the fan on and controls its operation. The temperature drops when the vehicle is in motion and the switch turns the fan off. When the air conditioning system is in operation, the air conditioning relay supplies power to the fan relay via a fan diode downstream from the ignition switch. This diode activates the fan relay and keeps the fan operating as long as the air conditioning is on. Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Air condition fan only works on high speed, no low speed

You have a bad blower motor resistor. This is located under the dash close to the blower motor itself

Air conditioning fan not working. No air exiting vents

The first step is to check your fuse. Go to your fuse box and look on the lid. The lid to the box should tell you what fuse belongs to the blower. Thats a good place to start.

Air Conditioning

I assume when you say the ac fan you mean the condenser fan? Take the plug loose from the fan and check it for voltage. If theres no voltage when the air is on,check the relays and fuses. If there is voltage then replace the fan motor.
