SOURCE: replacing rear speakers on 1998 ford taurus

i had a 93 tarus for awhile and i dropped some pioneers in it. it was easy because the speakers actually sat on top of the paneling but on a 98 they are under it. the easiest way to go about changing them is to remove them from the top of the trunk. the fabric unclips from the top and a few screws hold the speakers in place.

2005 Ford Taurus Trunk jammed (kid's baseball bag), won't open with key or electronic unlock. Rear seat does not have trunk access. Can I remove seat back.

If it is a bench seat, most lower sections unbolt at the base of the front of the seat (near the foot well) then pull out. Once the lower section is out, the bolts to the upper section will be visable - undo those and the seats should lift up and out.
