Problem for Peugeot 2006 505

2005 peugeot expert 2.0 hdi turns off?

dinky do. I have a 2005 peugeot expert 2.0 hdi . The problem is that it randomly just turns itself off.....i then have to take the key out, wait 5 seconds and restart, Upon starting the engine management light comes on, however it drives normally? after a while the light turns off. It is happening more and more now espicially when travelling uphill? any ideas? kind regards

Sounds like a flakey connector - try hunting down all the connectors you can find under the bonnet. Separate them, spray with WD40 and reconnect. Start at the engine management computer (silver block with fins on and lots of wires coming out). Take great care not to bend pins.
