SOURCE: 2001 Buick Park Avenue starts hard when warm. Runs

Check the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail.It has a vacuum line going into it.Remove the line and if fuel comes out the regulator is bad.Replace it.This will cause a hard start when warm. The pressure sensor for the Evap.system is on top of the fuel tank. The po171 could be the fuel filter or o2 sensor. You need a scan tool to monitor the o2 readings to see if they are working properly.

My 2001 saturn is trying to turn over and start but wont check engine light code p0452

P0452 Saturn Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
"P0452 - Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input. Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input indicates a low voltage problem in the Fuel Tankicon1.png Pressure Sensor (FTPS). What the fuel FTP sensor does is convert fuel tank absolute pressure into electrical signals and inputs the signal to the ECM/PCM, (Computer).
First thing to do is make sure the gas cap is good and tightened properly. Then check the vacuumicon1.png lines and wiring at the FTPS (Location-Fuel Tank) to be sure they are good, clean and tight.
Barring a wiringicon1.png problem it can be a bad FTPS or PCM.
"
I copied this blog on the code p0452. So, check gas cap, check vacuum lines from fuel tank and trace the lines making sure there is no break. check wire plug on the fuel tank pressure sensor.

Hi there:

DTC P0452 - Fuel tank pressure sensor- low voltage
Possible causes:Faulty fuel tank pressure sensor open/short in wiring harness between pressure sensor & VCMFaulty VCM

Below is diagnostic testing for both codes. You need to address DTC P0452 code first. In order to do full testing in order to determine problem you will need a DVOM(digital voltmeter) and a level 2 diagnostic scanner. Most of the testing can be done with the DVOM.

I strongly urge doing the diagnostic troubleshooting before replacing parts. It can just as easily be a short/open in wiring as a faulty part.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

P0449, which is a code for solenoid CONTROL CIRCUIT. You could just have a loose or broken wire or connector as you stated, P0452, which is a code for Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input
