I have a 1989 chevy 1500 5.7L the ac is broke and I noticed on the diagram on the fan shroud that there is a diagram for a truck without ac can I just use this belt to bypass the ac

Check to see if the AC belt turns anything else, like Power steering, Alternator, Fan, etc. I had a car with defunct AC once, and took its' belt off (the belt was just for AC) with no problems.

How do i remove the fan to replace the serpentine belt

do not remove the fan. you have a automatic belt tensioner. look for small pulley to passenger side of fan. pulley will be attached tp leaver which is the tentioner. on the leaver in a 3/8 dive hole in it so you can attach a ratchet or braker bar in . once you in mount ratchet push or pull on ratchet to release tention hold back on tentioner and take belt off pay close attention to how the belt is routed.

Am replacing belt on 1998 dodge 3500 van w/ 360 &ac. do I have to rout belt over fan or will it install without doing that?

IT SHOULD ROUTE OVER THE FAN ON THE SMOOTH SIDE OF THE BELT. NOT THE RIBBED SIDE. THERE SHOULD BE A DIAGRAM ON A WHITE STICKER UNDER THE HOOD. FOLLOW THE DIAGRAM CLOSELY AND YOU SHOULD BE JUST FINE. P.S.THE FAN DOES NOT HAVE TO BE REMOVED TO INSTALL THE BELT. I HOPE THIS HELPS. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. GOOD LUCK

I want to disconnect the air conditioner on my 1998 Ford E-250 6 cyl engine. Exactly which fuse do I remove?

you want to remove the AC fan belt and buy a new belt to replace the old one so that you do not lose horse power form the parisitic darin caused by the belt and compressor.
