Once the (2.6L)engine warms up it stalls, it will start back up but stalls right after start up, but if giving constantly givin fuel it will run. Ive changed the spark plugs and wires, the fuel filter, fuel pump and did the timing. I also did a small carb cleaning.
My 88 raider did the same thing. As long as I had my foot on the gas pedal it would run but if I lifted off the gas it would die. It ended up being a vacuum line. I can't remember which one (possibly the AAP) but not sure. I did replace the AAP diaphragm and all of my vacuum lines.
Sounds like you might have a vacuum leak I had the same problem and it was driving me nuts and iv used 2 diffrent carbs and rebuilt each one like 2 times so i think you have a vacuum leak all so check ur for exhaust leaks and outher things cus most of that carb is controlled by computer but it might just be some thing simpol
Sounds like you need to have the carb adjusted or rebuilt. Thats all I can think of.
