Temperature blending doors might need a reset. Find the fuse and pull it for a few minutes. If that doesn't work you may need to replace the blend door actuator. Or your cooling system may be clogged.

NO HEAT Complaint, -First of all check your coolant level, If OK Lets Remove the Passenger Glove Box, Look to your left you will see a Blower Duct Remove it, Look at the blend air door lever this controls the amount of Air traveling through the heater core and the AC Evaperator. Start your car and adjust temp, see if the lever is moving...If No then remove the blend air door motor but take note on the postion of the arm..although i like to go to hot totally or Cold totally then when i reinstall the motor i position the arm to match ...Fully Up is totally hot fully down is ice cold....!!! Open the blend air door housing and clean the contacts that travel on the large gear with a File or Sandpaper and wipe any collective grease that has maybe in excess...then put together put the plug into her and try lets see if the arm travels now......i have a link to see what we have just discussed ....

No heat in a 93 Chevy 1500 full of antifreeze blower motor only works on high. There is no visible signs that the heater core is out

Lack of heat is probably the blend door on the heater plenum. The motor only working on one speed is the blower motor resistor. The resistor is mounted on the plenum too, Look behind the glove box for the resistor and see if the blend door lever is there. It could be controlled by vacuum or other method. Move the heat control on the panel and see w hat is supposed to move. The lever on the blend door might be loose or broken..

I drive a 2004 f450 schoolbus. it has interior hear to the rear of the bus, but the front doesn't seem to get anything but warm air. it also takes the heaters about 50 mins. to get any heat at all. once...

check to see if you have air trapped in teh cooling system first. If yes, burp it out by leaving the radiator cap loose and run engine until warm and see if air purges.

Are you sure gauge goes to NORMAL? If not, theremostat is suspect.

Finally, check to see if blend door in heater plenum travels the full distance. It oculd be stuck in the middle. Also, check to see if both heater hoses are hot going into and out of the heater core.

AC blows from the foot and defrost but not the console.

If your Grand Cherokee is equipped with dual climate control, then it sounds like your blend doors in the heater box have broke and aren't switching. I would bring it to your local Jeep dealer and have them look at the HVAC for blend door faults. Usually fault code 54 for blend door travel too large will come up. It is a rather expensive repair to have the blend doors replaced because they are part of the heater box and the dash has to be removed.

Best of luck

Blend door for front temp control is stuck in the 'cold' position this winter. Is there a way to manually move and fix the door to get some heat?

you have to replace the blend (heat/cold) door motor, you can try to remove motor and turn door and try to jam something in door handle slot ,that the part that the motor turns, hope this helps.

Ac is not blowing like it should

This sounds like an issue with the blend doors or the A/C control head. Check out the blend door motor to see if it is properly shutting the doors off to the engine compartment. The reason the passenger side is cooler is because it is located next to the evaporator, so the cool air has a shorter distance to travel into the car. The A/C control head is a big problem with RX-8's. Hope this helps.

if the blend air door keeps cycling even if the setting is hot or cold this tells you that the thermostatic control sensor is bad. replace that and the problem will be solved.......please rate this.

Air conditioner

On my 90 Aerostar 3L, I had a similar problem, in that the front vent control, or blend door was not setup correctly and had to be adjusted. Somehow the choke type cable for temperature adjust, had slipped out of its holder at the door end, and was not allowing the blend door to close properly, and the outside air was not allowed to bypass the interior heater core, even thought the cooling core was lowering the air temp, but raising it again because it had to go through the heater core. Removing the top of the dash, and looking in from outside the windshield, and having someone operate the temp control will tell you if it's working properly, or needs adjustment. Alternately, if it's the manual control type, by quickly operating the temp control, you should here the blend door "thump" as you open and close it. There should be full travel in the control range, or if limited, the above problem applies, adjust at the blend door mechanism.

Blows hot all the time.

I fixed the problem. It was the blend door actuator, but the wheels continued to turn because the reset operation requires resistance to know when the blend door is at its limit for the hot and cold side. At least that is what I assume. If the actuator is tested off of the blend door, it will simply turn until it can't turn anymore. After installation, it worked fine.
