For an accurate answer, you would need to provide your model number which can be found on the back of the grill on a small plate, tag or sticker.

Can a ES100 Frigidaire gas range oven be lighted manually when there is no electric

Yes, the majority gas ovens with mains ignition can be bye passed you ether have a grill cover at the top of oven door or the bottom on the outside and somewhere between the grill slots there should be a small shaft with a slot in the end to enable you to turn it by screwdriver to put the gas through to the burner so your can manually when there is a power cut Ect.

Good luck

What is the different between a heavy and medium duty propane regulator?

One gets more use than the other. Think of it as one is commercial grade and the other home use grade like for a BBQ grill.

On my 1999 pontiac grand prix gtp. When i accelerate the gear doesnt kick in when its supposed to it sounds like it wont catch it right away. I used a computer for my car and all it told me was my car...

A clogged catalytic converter can cause serious engine performance issue from cylinders misfiring due to the computer trying to compensate for the air/fuel ratio and if they become totally restricted they will blow up. a grand am I had worked on had a baseball sized hole in the side of the converter and the ceramic catalyst substrate inside looked like burnt coal from a bbq grill. With the vehicle running place your hand lightly over the exhaust when you just start the vehicle and it's not hot the exhaust flow should blow your hand away if it doesn't seem to have much force against your hand odds are the exhaust is restricted as your mechanic noted

Fig. 5: Retainer clip used to secure the front grille
  1. Raise the hood and support it with the prop rod.
  2. On 1981-94 models, remove the retainer screws from around each headlight.
  3. Remove the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. Using a small prytool to press the tab on each of the grille retainer clips at the top of the grille upward while pulling the grille away from the radiator support.
  5. When all the tabs have been released, lift the grille up slightly and out to remove.
To install:
  1. Engage the lower portion of the grille into the radiator support.
  2. Carefully push the grille toward the radiator support, making sure the retainer clips align with their respective mounting hole. Once all the holes align, press the grille and retainer in until it clicks into position.
  3. Install the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. On 1981-94 models, install the retainer screws around the headlight.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

At start up car smokes like crazy but only once in awhile other times fine also when driving once in awhile you get like a spark knock and then the car smokes like crazy and somtimes dies after a minute ok...

Sounds like you have a bad valve seal (or maybe several).

Basically there are seals for your valves that keep oil from dripping down into your pistons and smoking like crazy. When these go out, oil drips down when the car sits still for a while.

It's an intermittent problem because not all of your valve seals are bad. Depending on the position of your engine when you turn it off determines whether or not your bad valve seal(s) is going to leak oil into your piston.

I had this problem on one of my first pickup trucks. From everything that people told me, you don't really have to worry about it. It's embarassing, but it's not causing any real problems.

To confirm that this is the case, you could pull your spark plugs. 1 or more (but not all) should be fairly black and even have a little bit of gunk on it (maybe like a bbq grill).

I hope this helps.
