Depends a bit on the car, and the climate, but on average a Caddy should run at about 200-220 deg F. The thermostat spec seems to be 180 deg F for this engine, but that does not set the running temp., only the minimum.

Toyota vista d4 engine runs then shuts after a while drive.cools down then starts again.3s-fse

It seems somebody tempered with the throttlebody air adjustment so whenever the car heats up they will be more air supplied to mix with fuel it blows the fuel out plus the heat coming makes the car does what we call preignition rendering the cylinder useless at the point of combustion but after it cools down with the air switch automatically switched off for cold start it will run

JD 425 only runs on right spark on left plug.....replaced coil and connector.....?

I was in a strange temper last 7 days, though, and I decided that I needed to approach him. After the show, as soon as the music stopped, I would merely introduce myself and tell him that I was a big fan, just to clear the air. Computer Mouse Slow Mouse Reaction AmanStino

Bought a Seat Ibiza in November 2009. Just noticed crack in windscreen. It is not a 'chip' like from a stone or other object. It is a fissure, a line crack. Could this have been caused by the extremes of...

It's tempered glass so it can handle the extreme to a point unless you live in the south pole. A crack will always happen if not immediately when a solid object hits the tempered glass. Characteristic of tempered glass is that once it's gone through it's tempering process cannot be cut or gouged for fitment adjustment because it will always crack rendering useless. Unlike untempered glass you can gouge and cut it as many times to fit it in place.

What it means is when ever a tempered glass gets dinged hard enough to gouge it, it will most certainly crack. But for a crack to happen without a gouge because of temperature changes are unlikely because of the tempering process will withstand this changes except subjecting it to a fire above it's flash point.

Same problem - just starting in one corner

This is a very common problem, I have had the same issue recently and looking at various forums so have many others.

Audi surely know about it but until everyone makes a stand we will continue to pick up the bill.

Maybe you should gather as much of this proof as possible and try and get some goodwill from Audi.

!997 Tahoe, the right rear turn and brake lights dont work.

If you live in an area of temperate weather, you may have some corrosion that has caused you to lose the ground contact there.  That and a fuse that services those lights are about the only things that could cause all three to fail.
