Question about Cars & Trucks
Recently drove about 5 miles and all of a sudden my car just died, friend riding with me noticed that the throttle/accelerator cable was stretched out. I have a brand new battery in this vehicle so could the throttle/accelerator cable be causing the issue of it stalling or is it something else? How much could something like this cost to get it fixed?
Throttle cable is probably not the issue at all. I would bet this is the fuel relay. It is in different spots on every vehicle but it is about a 60 to 100 dollar part and very easy to replace once you find its location.

The oil in the spark plug may cause the car to run sluggish. The oil may prevent the spark plug from firing correctly or cause you to burn oil. You may want to replace the oil seals around the spark plug holes by removing the valve cover and you should be able to change the oil seals underneath the cover. While at it check the engine for loose wire connections and loose vacuum hoses.

Try cleaning the fuel pump filter. Under the seat behind the driver lift the carpet and you will find a round cover with six screws remove the cover. The fuel pump is directly below unscrew the retaining round plate and remove the pump. At the base of the pump is a small filter if it is covered in black muck that's your problem. clean and replace. job takes about 10 mins good luck. please let me know how you got on!
