Question about Eagle Cars & Trucks
I have a 94 eagle talon automatic transmission. It will not start unless it is in neutral but it will not shift in any gear. It just revs. The previous owner drove it everyday and one day it just popped and will not go anywhere now.
You need to replace the NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH (some people call it a PRNDL Switch. Once you get it aligned correctly, all will be well. Install it in Neutral with the Shift indicator in Neutral. Tighten the Bolts and make sure the Park indicator is in Park and the movement of the Cable is correct. you may have to make multiple attempts to get it right.

it has a problem with the second gear drum it cracks and does not fully engauge the n shifts to 3rd ..many honda owners also learn the 8 bucks a quart is the only fluid to pour in a honda..but remember 3 qaurts per drain and fill the tranny holds 7q ....it will take a case to do a drain flush...a high pressure flush will ruin a automatic tranny with alot of miles or metal deposits floating around inside..DRAIN AND FILL 3 QUARTS AT A TIME NO GASKET NEEDED ITS BUILT AND DESIGNED LIKE A MANUAL TRANNY

its time to go to a transmission repair shop. transmission is one of windstars weak link, mine did it in just 76000 miles, my advice if you want it fixed dont buy used ****** you will just have the same trouble later, a new modified windstar ****** will by fine or have it fixed by a good transmission mechanic they will put in modified parts, they will offer a five year warranty on their work. and save.
