Question about Cars & Trucks
I have fitted a cd player into my toyota starlet s reg. it works fine until it has been playing 7 minutes then the speakers start to cut out. It's not the cd player as this continues to play and was fine in my previous car. As soon as you turn the ignition off and on again it works perfectly well for another 7 minutes. any ideas??
It sounds as if something is not grounded properly. Check your wiring and make sure all connections are made.

SOURCE: toyota avalon csx 2000 cd player
I had the same problem. It is probably the laser reader for the CD player. I took it in to the dealer and was referred to a vender as the warranty had expired. I took it the vender 10 days ago and just had it re-installed today. Works well. BTW, the dealer took it out and send it to another company which repaired it and sent it back.

the dealer told me not to use burned cds to long in the cd player. the cds are a little thiker then a regular cd. i had to not use the cd player for a couple of days. once the cd cooled down it cam back out and i havent had a problem since. Solution dont let burned cds get to hot

SOURCE: Audi A3 Air Con Cut out
Happened to me too, when the ECO light comes on automaticly (and it only blows hot air) it means it's simply broke.
I don't know the exact production date of your car, but there is/was an airco-related dealer recall for some cars, so just contact your dealer and have it fixed, but don't forget to mention the recall (it might save you a lot of money when your warranty has already expired).

you may have set the cd burn onto mp3 instead of audio cd... if you're using a program like itunes, you can determine the output to be mp3 or cd audio... hope that helps...
