No power to ignition coil

2004 Suzuki Forenza , so say title.
what engine?, 2.0L or out side usa with 5 engines used.
power to.,.

  1. check fuses yet, that be first. (all electrics that.)
  2. scan it next to see DTC errors related to IGN COIL.????
  3. RTM , the manual is 4 bucks read that yet?

https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1027-2004-forenza-service-manual.aspx

so are you saying there is no spark on all 4 cylinders.
that be first, 1 &4 dead or 2 &3 dead. (coil pack pairs, not with wires scrambled, they most not be connected WRONG)

if only 1 pair fail we have a cure.
if all 4 die, other ,,, see?
tests matter, doing all tests on wasted spark, tells you whats up.
test with 2 spark plugs. new.
shells gounded.
1 and 4
then 2 and 3. pairs.
all 4 fail, or just 1 pair? a key fact. on all wasted spark systems.

if you scan and get DTC shows, cmp dead, ckp dead or
ignitor 1 dead, well, ???? do you>?
coil pack
if pin 2 is 0v, cranking
the fuse EF10 is blown or the pump relay open.

to fix cars like this, you need the book, the schematic,
as seen here.
the ecu fires the hidden coil pack drivers.
if one plug goes open , you lose 2 cylinders
if one HV wire goes open, same.
see?
if one HV wire shorts to ground only THAT cylinder goes dead.

pin 86 is 12vdc cranking
pin 85 , the ECU grounds this pin to send power to the coil pack.
pin 30 is obvious, 12vdc all the time.

Whats the problem smells like rotten eggs,no power, car chugs and bogs down ?

Sounds to me like the catalytic converter is shot. The "rotten egg" smell and stalling out is a dead giveaway. The converter is plugged up and cannot let the exhaust out of the tail pipe like it should. The exhaust is building up back pressure in the exhaust system, causing the engine to lose power and stall. Take it to a qualified shop and have the catalytic converter replaced.

Truck is not firing on 3 cylinders yet it runs.. Runs really rough, back fires, under powered.. Plugs are Wet, Firing order is correct. New Spark plug cables. Don't know that is wrong! Please Help

Check for spark at the plug ( may have coil problem).
If spark is good then do a compression check. Pressure shouldn't be less than 75% of known good cylinders.

My 1990 trooper izusu all of a sudden started losing speed one of the spark plug wires was completely burned before i changed them the trooper is still losing speed why please help

I had the same thing happen to my trooper it started losing power I had to cut out the cateyletic converter and when I did it ran perfect but it was very loud but I only drove it to Darryl's Mufflers he put a new one on she ran like a champ it started to plug up or it could be the timing belt slipped a little, jumped a tooth it would still run depends on how many teeth that it jumped the more teeth it jumps the more it will loose power fast and eventually start missing and back firing and start being hard to start or it jumps to far out of time it will not start at all it will just turn over. If it breaks it will turn over fast and not fire at all. Hope this solves your problem its 2 problems that I know will make your trooper lose power and speed if this does not sound like the problem then call Affordable Battery & Auto Care and ask for Jed let him know Jeff referred you to him and he will look it up and help you diagnosis your problem. Call 503-477-9631 he is really good and he is affordable.

My 92 nissan pickup not firing after i did some engine work. put everything back on correctly. engine sounds good when turning over but just dont fire. yes i got gas. yes there is spark. air filtr is off....

I would set my firing point to just a little below TDC on the power stroke. This will insure the crankshaft has rotated over a degree or two toward it's downward stroke. If the crankshaft is exactly TDC when it fires it could try to push it in the wrong direction. Just a couple of degrees late on the firing can make a lot of difference.
Hope this helps.

My car is losing power going uphill, sputtering really bad and idles hard....any ideas on what the problem is?

Sound like it is flooding itself.
Possibly and air flow sensor telling the car it is running too lean and thus injecting more fuel and boggin you down.
Does it do this from a dead stop when you mash the throttle to the floor?
