Question about 2007 Volkswagen Jetta 2.5 Sedan
It can be the thermostat giving you an over heat or the fan switch on the thermostat attached to the radiator is not working. as for battery light there is a problem with the charging circuit, could be a faulty alternator or a damaged wire or bad earth. you will need to have it checked. if you have a meter put it on volts and check the batter before and after before you start engine and then when the engine is started should be 12-13 volt with engine off ( fully charged battery) with engine running 13.83- 14volts.
