its a wild chance, check to see if you have trailer towing wiring/connectors, there could be a short between wires there,, does the flashing malfunction appear on dash signals or outside car? marty

Hi, I think your flasher has separate relays for right and left. It is not a normal flasher (has 10 pins), but it is plugged into the fuse panel under the left side dash. Try replacing that, or if you have a voltmeter you could check the flasher socket for a proper signal from the switch. There should be power on pin C of the socket when the left signal is clicked on (key on). It has to be the switch or the flasher as I have looked at everything downstream from there.
