SOURCE: air suspension compressor doesn't run

Hi, this is a common issue with most air ride trucks of this nature. the air compressor unit has failed and it will need to be rebuilt or replaced. its cheaper to just replace the compressor rather than to get it rebuilt. The most likely issue will be that the seal has been blown and it is unable to compress the air flow through the air lines.

Pleas rate and god bless:)

SOURCE: check engine light

If you live in the US, you can take it into an Auto zone store and they will read off the code for you. Once you have the code you can decide a course of action.
Other large automotive parts outlets may offer the same, as they all want your parts business.

Hope this is of some help

SOURCE: the check air suspension light comes on in the message box

you have to have air suspension computer scaned to pull codes in order to find problem,if rear is all the way up, it could be a bad rear level sensor it may be no good or the arm from sensor to car frame may have fallen off, hope this helps.

SOURCE: Low rear suspension on my 1999 Cadillac DeVille

Do you hear your compressor running? It may be that it is getting tired and ready to burn out on you. I replaced the compressor twice on my Deville before I found that there were so many holes and nicks in the air bags and it was going to cost me almost $1500 to fix the whole system. I went online and found Strutmasters. I got a non air conversion kit for my car and love it. Saved me money and headache.

Saab 97x wipers only work on high speed

Greatest liklihood is that your switch has become corroded and is not making contact at the LOW setting. Try saturating the switch with penetrating oil (such as WD-40) overnight, then test operation in the morning.
If that doesn't solve the problem, test for switch continuity. If the switch tests good, check for voltage at the wiper motor. If there is voltage at the wiper motor with the switch at the LOW setting, replace the wiper motor.

Old post, but you had recently unhooked the battery for what ever reason. For others, unhook the battery and clean your throttle body to remedy this very common problem.

There is some kind of pump on the rear drivers side near the spare tier what is it and why is it makeing a loud vib sond?

Your vehicle is apparently equipped with Automatic Level Control Suspension (ALC). The thing you hear running in the rear driver's side is the air compressor that pumps up your air suspension. It is normal for this to run occasionally. Sometimes they seem a little loud. That's why they mounted it all the way in the rear and used rubber bushings to secure it...so you won't hear it running while you are driving. If it is running too much, it can be a sign that your air suspension components have air leaks. If it seems to run constantly, you need to get your suspension system checked because the pump will burn itself up trying to keep the leaky suspension inflated. VERY common as well as VERY EXPENSIVE to fix if not taken care of promptly.

If it just runs for a minute or two and shuts off and doesn't come back on for a long time, don't worry about it - this is normal. It SHOULD run for a while if you have the ignition key turned on and you load something heavy in the back of the vehicle.
