FTS Low - Fuel Pump Temperature Sensor Low

I do not know what to do about this. Most likely you will have to replace the fuel pump. Make sure you received the correct pump if you purchased and installed a new one. You might be able to reset the system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.

SOURCE: Unable to locate radiator drain

It is on the side of the bottom of the radiator, but I found it easier to just remove the lower radiator hose and let it just drain faster that way. Keep a large container nearby to catch the coolant.

2011 KIA Sorrento 2.4 were is the fuel pressure regulator located. put on adjustable fuel reg .need to disconnect stock one

fuel pressure regulators are normally located in the fuel manifold. They are either vacuum controlled or electronic controlled to maintain the right fuel pressure for engine requirements and to shut off the fuel pump when the ignition is turned off
If your manually adjusted unit will not do all that then you are asking for fault codes to appear and all sorts of problems to occur

How to install a idle air control valve

Are you sure it's bad? I would try cleaning it first. Special spray at the auto store. Cheaper than a new valve.

Water leaking on passenger side of kia

If the water is clear and has no antifreeze smell, then its a blocked condensation drain from the AC. Most likely. You should be able to clean it out quite easy. It will be in front of the passenger side feet area. You may be able to see it from under the hood, or you may have to go from under the car.
Look for a crinkly tube sticking down or it may be a 2- 3 inch downturned L shape tube on the firewall. A pipe cleaner from any tobacco shop will do the job. Just poke it through to clean out. Watch out for water in the eye.

If the water is greenish or orangeish, and feels sticky then you have a heater core leak and will need to replace the heater core.

I have a kia sorento 2.5 XE 2004 which taps upon starting up until the oil gets warm. Changed oil 3 times in last 6 months

try draining the oil and putting kerosene in the engine, then run the engine for a minute and drain, this will clean out a lot of gunked up debris in your motor, when you refill the oil put some conditioner in with it like Lukas or Risloan. You may have to do this a few times in a short period to get the system all cleaned out.

Hi there,

I hope below steps can help..

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery terminal. 2. Disconnect the fan motor connector. 3. Loosen the radiator drain plug to drain the coolant. 4. Disconnect the upper and lower hoses and overflow tube after marking the radiator hose and the hose clamp the ease reassembly.

Cover or plug the hose and inlets of the radiator so that dust and other foreign material etc. can not enter after the hose is disconnected from theradiator. 5. For vehicles with automatic transaxles, disconnect the oil cooler hoses from the automatic transaxle. 6. Remove the air conditioner condenser fixing bolts and radiator bracket fixing nuts. f17b093.jpg 7. Remove the radiator and the fan motor. 8. Can't find where the spark plugs are located

The 2003 Kia Sorento with 3.5L V6 has the spark plugs located under black plastic covers in the center channel of each cylinder head. Several brackets, cables, and hoses must be moved out of the way to access them. The manufold air intake tube needs to be removed on the right bank.
The left cylinder bank has coil-on-plug assemblies while the right bank has more conventional spark plug caps with sealing assemblies to keep dirt/moisture out of the spark plug wells. The coil-packs are held with two 10mm bolts each and are difficult to get to. Use universal-joint sockets and an extension.

Takes about  2.5 hours to R/R spark plugs. The average do it yourself'er will take longer (usually). All electrical plugs are color-coded and/or indexed so it's pretty difficult to screw it up. The cruise control actuator cable is in the way on the left bank. Twisting the cable elbow upright releases it from the actuator allowing it to be bent sideways to gain clearance.

Good luck and hope this helps.
