Change antifreeze cant find petcock chevy impala 2006

Some vehicles don't have one so you will need to draw the coolant out through the radiator or remove the lower hose to drain it.

We are unable to locate the Petcock on our 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass GL. We have jacked the car up and looked on the lower right and left hand side of the radiator with no success. Please help. Visual...

Locate the radiator's drain petcock on the far right, bottom corner of the radiator. The petcock on the radiator should be either black or red. It will be flat on both sides and resemble the wind-up dial on a music box.

2002 Impala: check coolant light comes on occasionally but doesn't over heat; assume it's dirty and I need to flush the radiator. Where is the drain/petcock? Do I use garden hose to rinse out?

THE CHECK COOLANT SENDER UNIT MAY BE IN THE OVERFLOW TANK (HEADER BOTTLE) CHECK THE LEVEL IN THAT
OR IF IT IS IN THE RADIATOR ITSELF THEY CAN GATHER A SLIME ON THEM FROM THE COOLANT ADDATIVES.
REMOVE IT AND CLEAN IT AND REFIT

Show a diagram on how to drain my 2000 chevy impala, I can't seem to locate how to drain the old water, and anti-freeze, so I can add new.

the easy easy solution for ya on this one is to look at the radiator....there is a black or white plastic petcock(drain plug) on the bottom of the radiator. normally it's on the right hand side of the radiator....drivers side of the car....simply turn it counterclockise to drain the cooling system...don't forget to flush the system and burp it to get all the air out of her when you are done...HOPE I HELPED!!

Where is the petcock located on a 1999 oldsmobile

Most are difficult to get to and so many don't work correctly that it it's almost silly to even use it. Far easier is to simply remove lower hose from radiator. It works better and faster. Just be careful though...Don't do hot or you may get an unwanted scalding bath!!
