Change your fuel filter, it may have gone it's life time and is getting to dirty to let fuel flow properly. Your fuel pump to may be getting weak, if the fuel filter is dirty the pump works harder and heats up and could be over heating the fuel pump relay too. The fuel pump relay i believe is in the glove box behind a panel that say relay, there should be (3) in there and the middle one is the fuel pump's. switch then around after you change the fuel filter and if you get a chance, check your fuel pressure at the shredder valve. Good luck and hope this help's if there is a Auto Zone around you, you can ask to use the fuel pressure gauge to see what fuel pressure you have and they'll have the step by step instructions on how to do it and takes about 5 min to do and will have the fuel filter and step by step to replace that too. Keep me posted, be glad to help.

When I gas it up it vapor locks and spits gas out the vent holes I have it just barely in the spout and have to go real slow

Are you talking about filling the gas tank>> If yes,,, That is NOT vapor lock... thats just the angle, speed of delivery, size of hose in vehicle, etc that causes the gas to spit out,, try not putting it in so far, and use a different angle.. (mine does the same thing!)..

Vapor Lock is when the engine/carb get so hot that the fuel vaporizes in the fuel lines and carb...THEN "vapor" cannot be pumped into the engine... and it wont run... now ya know!! :)

96 Benz ran out of gas other day, got it filled up & drove home (20 miles). Next day drove about 40 miles, left car running in park for about 15 min, when I left car was stalling like it was running o

You never leave a car running, as it will
overheat the Exhaust Converter
When you run out of fuel, you sometimes
ruin the Fuel Pump
It depends on gas to lubricate it,as strange as it sounds
Check fuel pressure & volume at the motor with a gauge

is the gas cap venting? the engine may not be getting enough fuel on the hot days if it is "vapor locking".

1991 F-150, 302 V-8, 5.0L acts like it has a vapor lock. Fuel injected so can't be vapor lock. After driving a while when I push on the gas there is no power. The engine starts to shake and chug like it...

It does seem like you have done a fair bit of work on this beast...just curious to see whether you had performed a cylinder head pressure test....???? If it is happpening more on hot days, it might be wise to check it whilst the engine is hot, i am suspecting a head gasket or head problem ???.....

Starts but won't run

Sounds like fuel vapor lock. When fuel is heated, it will change from liquid to gas.... gas bubbles don't feed very well through injectors or throttle bodies.
Inspect your metal fuel lines under the hood, most likely. See if a metal hose is touching the engine, especially the near or on the exhaust manifold. You might want to insulate the fuel lines (Lowe's or Home Depot $4) with pipe insulation.
