I usually get wiring details from the library, they have these HUGE books with the whole wiring diagrams,of course as long as your car's wiring hasn't been altered ,you'd be able to find your problem. You could see if the dealer's auto parts counter could give you a print of the dashboard wiring.

SOURCE: replacing timing belt on daewoo nubira 2000 model

Instructions Difficulty: Moderate Things You’ll Need:

  • Set of ¼-inch drive sockets ¼-inch drive ratchet Set of ½-inch drive sockets ½-inch drive ratchet Set of 3/8-inch drive sockets 3/8-inch drive ratchet Set of metric wrenches Floor jack Jack stands
Step1 Raise and support the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the intake air temperature wiring, the breather hose and intake air hose. Take off the air cleaner assembly. Step2 Remove the right wheel. Remove the accessory belts. Remove the crankshaft bolt and the crankshaft pulley. Remove the power steering bolts and the timing belt covers. Temporarily install the crankshaft bolt and turn the engine clockwise until the mark on the crankshaft pulley, which is a triangle stamped into the crank sprocket, is aligned with the corresponding triangular mark on the block. Step3 Make sure that the timing marks are aligned on the camshaft sprockets. These are a line on each sprocket that runs through a tooth on each sprocket. These lines should line up in the middle between each sprocket and point toward each other. If they do not line up, turn the crankshaft one more time and they will line up. It takes two turns of the crank to one complete revolution of the cam. Step4 Loosen the water pump bolts; using the 3/8-inch ratchet, turn the water pump clockwise away from the belt and loosely tighten the bolts to keep it there. Remove the timing beltmag-glass_10x10.gif. Make sure the timing marks are aligned and install the new belt starting on the right side from the crank sprocket and working counterclockwise. Keep all the belt tension on the right side away from the tensioner. Step5 Loosen the bolts in the water pump and rotate the water pump counterclockwise to apply tension to the belt. Watch the tensioner, which is above the water pump, and apply tension with the water pump until the pointer on the tensioner lines up with the notch above it. Lightly tighten the water-pump bolts. Step6 Turn the engine two more times and align the timing marks perfectly. Loosen the water-pump bolts and, using the ratchet, apply tension to the belt until the tensioner pointers are aligned. Tighten the water-pump bolts. Step7 Install the timing-belt covers and the bolts in the power-steering pump and tighten. Remove the crankshaft bolt and install the crank pulley and the bolt, then torque the crankshaft pulley bolt to 70 foot pounds of torque. Install all components in reverse order of removal.

SOURCE: i need repair manual for mitsubishi sigma 1992

Chiltons and Haynes have wiring diagrams and can be purchased at auto parts stores but I prefer the free method. My first option below:

Most libraries have repair manuals in their reference sections,

A lot of local libraries also subscribe to online auto repair manuals such as Chilton's or Haynes and offer free access if you have a library card.
Contact your local library and ask if this service is available.

Repair manuals online:

• One of the first places to try is AutoZone's website. The site has a very comprehensive free auto repair guides covering most makes and models of vehicles from 1950 to the present.
• Napa auto parts website provides tutorials on basic auto maintenance such as oil changes, checking fluid levels and replacing air filters.
• Automoting.com has tons of information, is very user friendly and as a bonus, even has guides for repairing small engines and household repairs.
Another useful resource is the 2carpros.com website. Here you can post questions and get answers from real mechanics. You can also search through lots of topics on auto repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Edmunds web site also has a pretty good forum called car talk. It is peer based and has quite a few very knowledgeable members on board.
There are quite a few other forums and message boards available online, as well as peer based ones. Just type in auto repair forums or message boards in any search engine and you will see quite a few. Just watch out for ones that say they are free but try to sell you something, or say you can post questions, but must pay a fee to receive an answer. You will most likely find free auto repair guides and all the information that you need, so there is no need to pay for help.
Libraries:

If you really prefer to have a paper manual, check half.com, an eBay company that sells used books for a fraction of the price of new. Some of the manuals as low as $1.99. There are several other used book websites like Alibris books and Bookfinder.com to name a couple.
You can also check local used book stores.

SOURCE: No parking lights.. Head lights and brake lights

You can try an internet search for the wiring diagram. No power to all the parking lights? Then probably the light switch. Make sure you have power to both sides of the fuse. If not the either wiring from the switch or the switch itself. Good luck.

SOURCE: workshop manual book for Mitsubishi

I have some workshop and service factory service manuals but they are geared more towards the model not just Mitsubishi so I would need to know what you are looking for and then i would need to figure on how to email them to you. They are pretty big files on some of them. You can get a hold of me at csautomotivecars@att.net and I will see what I can do.

hey there since you cant find diagram for the fuses i suggest getting a test light find a good ground spot near your fuse box or boxes and take the needle point of your tester and touch the metal tabs on top of each fuse if you get power on one side and not the other replace that fuse if power on both sides that fuse is a good one.. make sure you check all fuse boxes since you didn't specify what type of vehicle you have i can't give you any location points.good luck !

My reverse lights don't work, what could be the problem? All the fuses are good.

If the bulbs and fuses are good, your going to need to check your wires out. Make sure none are loose and pay close attention around the bulb sockets. Test the current in the wires with a voltage meter. Make sure all your grounds(black wires) are grounded good.

Yes, seems that you might have a few fuses that are blown out. There are two places for the fuses, one is under the bonnet, and one is inside the car, under the steering wheel. Both have a diagram either close to them, or in the dashboard fuses, usually the cover has the diagram on the back. This way you will know which ones to check. If you can't find the diagram you might need a "test light" to see which ones are not working. If a fuse is blown, you will see that the wire inside the plastic in between the pins is broken. Also, on the back side of the fuse you will see the amperage value. A fuse must be replaced with the exact same amperage value fuse.

Headlights not working on 2000 ss monte carlo

Assuming this isnt after an accident, and you have checked/replaced both bulbs.

Check both headlight fuses, one is on the side of the dashboard in the little triangle shaped door with the fingerhole. Look at the diagram on the door to help you see what one it is. If that one is good, go for the main fuse under the hood. This one is located in the black box above your battery. If those are ok, you either have a faulty headlight switch, or bad wiring.

BRAKE LIGHTS OUT REVERSE LIGHTS OUT , all fuse and bulbs look ok

First try to change the fuses, then check the wiring connectors if you get power or not. If not, check the wiring back from the bulbs to front of the car. best case is to have a broken wire between the bulbs and the wiring near driver seat floor. Worst case: you have a broken wire under the dashboard. Questions? Come back again please.
