Air bags. no year stated.
nobody can answer that, ever.
it needs diagnosis, as the operators guide said and the FSM shows.

it say" TAKE IT IN"
your insurance covers this. and for double sure if not at fault.

SOURCE: air bag light

hi this may be a long shot ? but if you have auto seat belt pretensioners ie activate on impact ? try under your seat and look for the wire/plug connector these sometimes are cause of light illuminating try this? disconnect plug and clean then re connect see if light off do same on passenger seat constant moving/adjusting seat position ? or inadvertantly catching the wire underseat when vacuuming car are a common cause of loose contacts ?

SOURCE: SRS warning light has reappeared

I would like to know if the car has been in a accident? if it has then the clock spring and computer should of been replaced, the seat belt should not be an issue, The car has a accelerometer in the computer if it is defective it would cause this problem, how ever it is common procedure if a car is in an accident to replace the air bags, the computer and the front and side crash sensors If it has not been in an accident then The only thing I would suggest is to go to this web site http://www.airbagsolutions.com/contact.aspx they charge $20.00 to diagnose the problem and can do it over the phone ans will have the experience and know how with this unusual problem.

SOURCE: srs light permanently on. 2003 ml350

the light will only go off if you fix the system or tell the vehicle you dont have a srs module but the dealers would have to do that.

SOURCE: AIR BAG LIGHT ON

I never advise any novice to work on the SRS due to the inherent dangers involved in working on this system. Take it to a professional for repair.

How to fix acura integra 1997 sedan srs light?

Has the car ever been in an accident? If it has, there are repair shops that will replace the steering wheel cover and dash but not the air bags themselves because they are expensive. See if there are air bags first, then check out the seatbelt pretension devices to see if they have deployed as well. 5_25_2014_5_34_26_pm.jpg

Air bag light on code 32 try too reset srs dont work

The seat is not part of the srs system

Have to diagnose two different problems

You don't reset things on vehicles, you diagnose
failed systems, make the repair & then clear all codes
& data,not resetting anything

SRS is supplemental restraint system, meaning air bags, and seatbelts. You need to get is scanned to see what issue it has.

The SRS warning light started flashing last Tuesday when the car (1999 Lexus ES 300) is running. What needs to be done? What may the costs be?

I had the same issue. Same year, same model. I checked the manual and a flashing srs light has to do with the sensors for the side air bags and seatbelts. I jiggled the wires under the drivers seat and reseated the plug. Problem solved. Check under the passengers side too.

I have a 2002 Honda Accord EX-4. The SRS light came on and stayed on. I've owned the car since new, and it's never been hit.I have three questions 1.) Could it be something with the seatbelt? 2.)If not,...

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat

(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity2_bing.gif problem.

I DO NOT disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s)

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

Endeaver srs light is on after replacing battery how can I reset also the passenger seatbelt light stays on

The light is on because the SRS computer detected excessively low voltage, likely right before your battery failed/was replaced.
To clear the light you will need to take it to a dealer or a repair shop with a Mitsubishi-compatible SRS scantool.

This happens so frequently, I never charge customers for clearing SRS lights that are related to battery changes (code will be IG low voltage A and B).

The SRS light stay on

SRS stands for supplemental restraint system. You have a problem with the airbag system. The seat belts have sensors to let air bag module know if they are buckled. Could be a bad buckle seat belt will work fine .This may be a common problem is why they said seatbelt problem
