I would not think that a fuse would be to blame. When a fuse blows that circuit is open and will not have connection again until the fuse is replaced. If your engine keeps dieing you need to determine if it is loosing spark or fuel.

Sounds like an electrical problem to me since you lose power as well when it dies. I would check to make sure I have a good clean ground to the battery to the block.

I think the fuel pump went out on my 93 GMC 1500 truck.

try changing the fuel pump. When the tank goes empty it sucks the dirt into the lines.

1997 nissan sentra keeps dying

Check distributor and fuel, when car dies check for what is missing when it won't start back up. It can be only gas or spark and trust me one is missing. Good Luck
