Sounds like you have a coolant leak at your intake ,check your intake air breather hose that connects to throttle body for coolant

SOURCE: how to replace a crank sensor on a 93 buick regal 3.8L engine

Im assuming this is the Series I 3800? If so, if you can email me I can send you some directions on the process. Its for a Series II 3800 but it should be similar. If you cant email me, post up and I'll see what I can do.

I have a 1999 buick regal ls dying.

I have a 99 Buick Regal and it too dies out, but only when I use my turn signals. Sometimes, when trying to start the car...the dash lights would flicker and you can hear some sort of electrical ticking sound. As of today, my car will not start (5/24/09) it hadn't turned over since yesterday. After a process of elimination and searching the net, I think I need a new ignition switch. You may need one as well.

1994 Buick Regal 3800 shut off periodically and now won't turn on

Sounds like you need an internal inspection of the engine. Valves, lifters, rods. pistons and rings etc. One of the worst things for cars is to let them sit for years.

I need to replace the fuel filter on a 1993 buick regal. Where is it located? I think I have found it but can see no way to remove the old one?

Husband found it but it did not solve the problem. But we can now hear the pump energize but the car still will not crank over and start. It acts like it is going to but just dies right away. This problem first started whenever I would go up the slightest incline, it would start running rough. Then on level surfaces it would go back to running fine and then one day it just would not start. Any suggestions?

2003 regal clusters flash on and off several times and dies

might be the crank signal sensor, try turning your key to the on position and all the lights on the dash should flicker on and off leave the it in the on position and go to the passenger side fuse panel and take out fuse 4A, the fuse for the CRANK SIGNAL , BCM, CLUSTER. if your dash stops blinking then its probably your crank sensor.
