Question about Mercury Sable
2004 Mercury Sable I took it to the body shop because I cracked my bumper on the front passenger side. They fixed it, car looks great. I first noticed it when I double lock the car remotely, the horn didn't go off like usual. Then, I tried using the horn on the steering wheel, which also didn't go off. I can hear a clicking when I press the horn though. Also, tried using the panic button/alarm and that didn't go off. Not sure what they could have done...

I replaced the horn relay which is located inside of fuse panel under the hood of car on the firewall, have someone push button to be able to hear a clicking sound coming out of the correct relay, then trade out relay of the same and see if horn works

SOURCE: I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey and the horn does not work when pressing the horn on the steering wheel. However, the horn does work when you press the panic button on the keyfob. Any ideas as to what i
The alarm should use the same relay, so it would have to be in the wiring between the steering wheel and the relay, or the horn pad you checked.
