Have a 92 Dodge Dakota v8 will not turn over by the keys replace the starter, solenoid, battery, ignition switch, but still will not turn over by the key

Check the operation of the ignition relay as well.
IS THERE AN AFTER-MARKET SECURITY SYSTEM INSTALLED? If so, you may need to disable it, as it is beginning to sound like that may be the issue.

unless you have the key fob also, you need a new ignition switch, with key fob and key with a chip in it,the switch turns on the fuel pump when the chip is recognized, take it to someone that knows what they are doing, you CANNOT hotwire it.

92 Dakota 3.9 L fuel pump won't shut off. What is going on?

the fuel pump relay contacts may have fused together, remove the relay and see if it stops, if it nuns for10 minutes then stops points to fuel fault, replace the filter then check pressure and flow. if the pressure is low check the fuel regulator and pump.

Would the ignition switch cause 92 dodge dakota not to fire an no gas

It is possible and the check is to get a test light and check for power at the coils and fuel pump. Have the ignition on and in the engine run position for this test. Remember the fault could be in either a fusible link or in a crank position sensor .

On my 92 dakota I'm not sure if its my starter or my ignition that's gone bad when I turn the key not a peep comes out of it but the ignition doesn't feel quite right so I don't want to go blow money on a...

just slide under the truck and test for 12 volts at the small wire to the starter whilel turning the ignition key. If you have 12 volts then it's your starter or engine ground strap. if not then you can suspect the ignition switch, neutral safety switch, clutch switch, fuse, relay or alarm with disabler.

Replacing key ignition lock

Check your starter switch. That's how mine acted before it went completely. I wouldn't mess with "hotwiring" unless you know exactly what you are doing. Dodges are quirky as it is with their electrical systems.
