SOURCE: How do you remove the wiper arm on a 96 olds

It is just froze up, a tap with a rubber hammer should loosen it, Or try to pry it gently from side to side, Maybe some Blaster, and put the nut back on to protect the threads, and tap on the nut.

SOURCE: turned my wipers on in 1980 oldsmobile cutlass only one arm moved

Take your car to AutoZone and tell them. It is either the windshield wiper motor or a small plastic piece that connects the arm to the motor broke. I am leaning toward the plastic piece being broken, it is really inexpensive to fix. The people at AutoZone will be able to check it and tell you exactly hat is wrong. WARNING: watch them and what they do. some people are not as honest as others.

1993 olds cutlass ciera Where is the wiper switch is it the control that is with the cruise and blinker coming out of the stering column?

  • Yes it is. Starting at the very left end of that arm is your cruise control adjustment. The next thing down is your wiper adjustment. You turn it one way or the other to adjust the speed of your wipers. If you keep going all the way down (to the right) to the end of that arm there is a little tab sticking up. Pushing that will spray the washer fluid on the windshield for you.

Where is the power steering fluid located on a 1991 oldsmobile cutlass?

If memory serves, it is behind the engine/transaxle assembly on the passenger side, very low, against the firewall. If you look down into the engine compartment below the passenger side wiper arm, you should be able to see the cap. You will need a funnel to fill it, and you should not try to access it while the engine is hot. Gloves and long sleeves are highly recommended.

How to remove an alternator from a 1992 Olds Cutlass Ciera

You don't really need to remove the alternator to have it tested just take it to a repair shop and they can connect to it in the car. To replace the unit you need to disconnect the battery first. After that remove the wires remembering where they go. Make a sketch or take a digital photo like I do for when you get lost. Now on the top of the unit is a bolt that attaches the alternator to a slotted arm. This arm is the adjusting arm. Next loosen the main mounting bolt at he base of the alternator. With this done you should be able to move the unit in to get the slack needed to remove the belt. Last completely remove the main mounting blot and the alternator is lose. Revers the steps to install.
