i think the drainage holes you are reffering to are the ones in the front cowel. You have to remove the wiper arms and the unscrew the cowel to get at the drains.

because of its age, your better off using clear bathroom silicon sealant around the screen (use the nozzzle at its thinnest to inject it DEEP into the join).then wipe off the excess with a damp cloth.you must do it on a DRY day to achieve best results.the other alternative is a screen refit.
