I would love to help you but you have not included any vital information. I will say, I have a 2011 Dodge Ram truck. Not to long ago, out of know where, all the shift indicator lights (on the gauge cluster) changed color on me. Then the engine light came on too but the performance and drivability did not change. the next day the engine light was out and the indicator lights were back to normal. A week later, the same symptoms reoccurred. I then decided to hook up my Modis Scan-tool and see what the heck was going on. The scan-tool revealed a transmission shift problem. The shift indicator switch (on the transmission) had become worn out and needed to be replaced. I hope that my experience might help you with your problem but if not please write back. I would like an opportunity to help you but I need a lot more detailed information (about the vehicle, mileage, maintenance history, work or repairs recently done, and anything else pertaining to this topic). Good luck.

I have a corsa utility 2004. Starts fine and once warmed up will cut out. will battle to start again and backfires sometimes. Once started it goes well with out further problems until the next day.

I would replace the spark plugs . Hmm, backfiring is usually a fault in the spark, bad plug wire or coil. Intermittent missing is tough to find unless you test the wires when it starts acting up by putting another plug into the cap and grounding it, have someone turn the engine over to see it's nice blue spark. Ignition modules will cause same problem when they go bad, check for bad or shorted wires to ignition .

I have a 2009 pontiac vibe with a radio that seems to ONLY work when the key is in the ACC mdoe. When I start the car, the radio and display goes off completely. When I press the Clock button the times...

Incorrectly wired, the supply going to the main power goes to the ACC only and not the main power or the ignition switch is faulty if nothing else works like blower etc.

Security System lites flashing & car wont start. all lites are on just wont start

Hi, I had the same problem with mine. It is the security feature. turn your key over to acc for 15 min. or until the security light stops blinking, then turn your key off and try to start it, it should work just fine:)

My keyless entry does not work so i unlocked the door with the key and the alarm went off how do i fix it?

First change the battery in the remote first. Then try the following even if the alarm is still sounding.

1. Get in the car and close the door.
2. Turn the key to the ACC position

3. Push the unlock button on the remote until the blinkers flash once.
4. Get out of the car and test the remote. It should be working fine. ( I actually was able to test it while in the car)

Car starts fine and goes in reverse fine

First thing is check your transmission fluid level. 2nd thing is, if you haven't changed filter & fluid in transmission in a while, spend the money & do it, or have it done.

Electrical Problem and broken door handle

I would take the radio out and start looking for the problem there. All of your inertior accessories run off that circut, and a short to ground can definately cause that problem. Remove the stereo, and check all of your connections. Make sure every connection is insulated (electrical tape will work fine to cover exposed wires.) Make sure that you pull the fuse for the radio/acc before you button up your radio connections. Once you have done that, replace the radio/acc fuse, and test your radio/windows. If they dont work after that, you may have to go to an electrical shop to have it diagnosed because your problem lies elsewhere. As far as the rear handle goes... it matters where it was broken off at. If the top part of the handle is broken leaving behind small peices ( and the handle hinges look intact) then it can be replaced by removing the interior door panel of the rear door, and unbolting the assembly from the inside of the door. If the hinges are broken, then you will need to buy an entire new assembly.

PT Cruiser radio

If you have the right code for radio, you just be waiting (acc on) so long time that you can enter the code.

If you turn acc "off" the counter is starts at beginning in next time when you turn acc "on".

I had once same problem, so I took the radio from car, connected to 12V power supply over night. Next morning I enter code and radio was ok.
