Question about Hyundai Tiburon
2001 Tiburon. nothing happens when I turn key, I have poser to inside of car, I have brake lights...no headlights or fog lights..check fuses under hood, half of them have power the other half don't have power..what would cause this?
Some of those fuses get their power from the ignition switch. Check to see if there are any blown fuses in the fuse box inside the left kick panel on the dash. You likely have a bad ignition switch.

Have you checked the starter solenoid. Your battery + cable connects to this then + cable runs from it to your starter. You also have an ignition switch wire connected to this. Just follow your cable from the battery and it will lead you right to the part. Some times these will break inside or the contacts go bad inside and therefore you will not get power to start the engine, but you will have power to turn on lights or whatever other accessories. The part is about $15
