The driver side rear/stop lights failed. Bulbs and fuse are positive. the lights work both side when brake is applied. other wise the lights turn on passenger side only. Please advise.

Did it concern only the lights that were turned on, when the brakes were applied? Only in that case, as I assume, then there's something wrong with the connection that leads from the lights to the brakes. Check the wires first.

Your brake lights are fine if they both work when you push on the brake pedal but it is on a different circuit than your turn signal/ tail light bulb. If bulb is good remove it from connector and re-install, sometimes they develop corrosion in the connector and it breaks the circuit.

Some cars have a fuse for each side, don't know why, and some bulbs twist onto a printed circuit board that can go bad. If it goes into a connector you can use a test light and see if you have any current to your connector.

The tail light fuse is under the rear seat on the drivers side.

Tail lights work but not brake lights 93 toyota camry

The brake light side of the bulbs is powered by the brake switch and travels thru the turn signal switch.
If the third brake light works, I would guess the problem is in the turn signal switch.

Rear stop lights (lower) won't come on when pedal depressed, BUT the high mount stop light does come on. Changed the bulbs - no go, the old ones did not look bad. All other rear lights work fine. ...

If all bulbs are known to be good, check fuse for brake lights (stop lamp fuse). If fuse is ok, go to next step
Next step- Does this Camry have a display in the instrument panel that indicates when a brake light is out? (not sure, check owner's manual)
If so, you may have a defective brake lamp sensor. Its mounted in the trunk on the right side. It may be blue, black, brown or yellow and may need to be unsnapped or unscrewed to remove. It will say on its cover what it is. You will need the number off of it to get the proper replacement. They run about $400.

I've replaced the bulbs on the rear tail light assembly and the driver's side light still won't work when the lights are on at night.... where is the particular fuse for this problem in the fuse box?

If the drivers side will not light up and pass/side will light up, they run on the same fuse. I would start with pulling the light bulbs out and check to see it there is power coming back at all, with a volt meter, if there is may have to clean off the contact points where the bulb fits in, if not may have to trace the wires back to front to see if something got cut, if you have trailer lights for towing look at the wires there to see if somthing has rubbed the plastic off the wires and grounding out. dose the turn signal light work on that side? and the reveres light work on that side?

My brake lights are out, but the third brake light in the rear window works ? what could be the problem on my 2002 toyota camry

both bulbs must be blown or bad connection to the rear lights, because all this is on the same circuit from the brake light switch.

HOW MANY BULBS ARE IN THE REAR LIGHTS (SUCH AS FOR PARKING, REVERSE, BRAKE). IF WARNING LIGHT ON PANEL IS ONE, WOULD I SEE A BURNT OUT BULB?

You may or may not see a burnt out bulb. The dash light can also mean there's a current issue (ie none of the bulbs are lighting)

2 reverse bulbs
2 license plate bulbs
2 turn signal bulbs
2 rear sidemarker bulbs (side of your tail light assembly)
2 running light bulbs which are the same as your stop light bulbs in the tail light assembly
1 to 6 high mount stop light bulbs (if they're in the window and varies on models)
1 strip of LED brake lights if you have a spoiler

Look at the wiring harness that runs along the hinge on the trunk lid, driver side. Camrys with lights on the trunk lid are know to break one of these wires.
