SOURCE: 1999 Nissan Sentra oil in air filter

First off, nothing "blows" into the air filter. It would be getting sucked in from somewhere in your engine compartment. My guess would be leaking valve cover. Check around and feel for wet oil. That will also be a leak. Have you been going through more oil than usual? Check that also. Hope that helped.

hi
check the engine oil.
if there was no oil left in the engine then good chance of engine seizing.
do not carry on starting the engine as you will bend the valves.

most nissan engines, have a cap on the valve cover , twist it off, see that opening, well then, pour it in , of course, if I were you, take you car to a quik oil change shop, they will replace your oil filter as well as all your oil, YOU PROBABLY NEED IT DONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im trying to empty some oil from my 1996 nissan sentra gxe, i accendently overfilled it. where do i empty it from and how?

This will be a 2 person operation so be ready for this. It works great!!!!
If you have a shop vacuum, turn it on, remove the oil cap and cover the oil cap hole. Have some one under the vehicle and take out the drain plug using a 14mm wrench or suitible tool. Have a drain pan under the hole (oil pan). When ready have the person holding the vacuum remove the hose briefly to drain the oil. When you fill enough has drained then reinstall the plug and check you oil level. If more needs to be drained then repeat above steps till you achive you correct oil level.
besure to always replace drain plug washer/ gasket so you do not create an oil leak.
Hope this helps solve your concern.

I have an 1996 nissan avenir station wagon and i need to put oil in but have no manual to show me how to do this. Also no idea which oil i should put in and where...!

Hi,
The fill cap located under hood with big cap ( it is bigger than you radiator cap). It has a dipstick beside the cap to check your oil level if needed. The drain plug is located under the engine. It has bolt size 14 mm or 17 mm. You should see the oil canister on lower side of engine. If you are not so confident, let do it at car shop at first time.

NEWLY OVERHAULED NISSAN SENTRA GAS ENGINE GA 13

Check the freeze plugs on the engine block.
These plugs/caps can leak when it is not sit perfectly.
Is the leak from tail pipe or from the engine area?
Start monitor for coolant and oil lose and report to the engine supplier.
Can you have a friend to do a drive along to see where the white smoke is coming from?

DO NOT rule out an incorrectly install head gasket set.
